Off topic but the Macy's flash sale was discussed here earlier so......Of course the items I ordered both showed In Stock when I placed the order, but now one has been cancelled and the other is on backorder until August. AND I now have on my account pending charges from Macy's for the original order total and then individual charges for each item ordered. So if you order $1000 worth of product from Macy's, you have to have $2000 in your account to cover the multiple times they charge you. Never again, Macy's, never again. Fool me once.

ETA: I'm holding shades 84 Cocoa Medium and 82 Cocoa Light
Quick Update/First Impression on this foundation:

I don't like to be quick to sing the praises of products without giving it a fair week or two of consistent wear, so I won't say how I personally feel about the foundation quite yet. I will say that this dries down very quickly to a matte finish (NOT flat matte!) and blurs the skin beeeeeautifully. The colors do run different from the Genius Gel; at least they do in my shade (Cocoa Medium). CM in this new formula is a bit darker and has some red in its undertone-- CM in the Genius Gel was the perfect golden-neutral shade for my skin tone, so that's the one thing that makes me sad. Also, this foundation doesn't have a pump-- it has a ball tip wand that is to be applied directly to the face (similar to YSL Fusion Ink and Maybelline Dream Wonder) which I find to be annoying and unhygienic.

Aside from that, those who found Genius Gel to be too light coverage, too dewy, not long lasting (although I'm still testing the time-wear claim) will really REALLY like this. You literally need the tiniest bit for medium to full coverage (I used 3 "drops"-- forehead and both cheeks); it even advises that you start with less and apply more after blending in for added coverage.

sephora flash 2 day is BS - last time it took 9 days to receive my item
what they do is they would create shipping label same day or tomorrow but wouldn't be picked up by ups days and days later.

Good heavens that's terrible! So sorry. I will never order from Macy's because of all the nightmare stories that I consistently read about them. And, they love to post product that they do not have stock of. They seem to have shipping issues too.

Sh*t that sucks @boschicka. Shockingly enough, I ordered the ABH Cream Contour Palette for $25 from Macy's on Weds night and I get it today

LOL, yeah I was so shocked (but happy) to see it there. My sis never tried the products, but when I told her to look into them, she asked me to buy her some. I'm relaxed, but she's natural and super excited!
Ive been wanting to try her products forever! Finally they are more accessible. Im natural as well and the two products im interested in (the heavy cream and the twist butter) are out of stock atm. Hopefully they come back soon!

I'm liking the sound of this! I'll try to check it out when next I can. I think Cocoa Medium is my colour in the Genius Gel also.

I spoke with Sephora's CS yesterday...so...I was sent my 250 perk bag,(no point perks deducted), and the rep told me not to worry about paying the cost for the hair tie,(1.00 US). He said, and I quote "it's on the house!" :wtf2: REALLY?! Like that was doing me a favor?! I became even more insulted! I raised all kinds of hell, so they offered me a gift card....i told them I was taking this matter above all of their heads! I've written 3 letters, and so far have gotten 2 replies and 2 offers for reasonably priced gift cards. Im not satisfied yet. They have to know that mishandling people will not be tolerated! They give us a hard time, so I'm returning the favor! I will continue to update you all...

Omg, "on the house?" He had nerve enough to say that with a straight face and expect you to be thrilled and satisfied? Disgusting. Glad you are taking this matter as far as necessary to prove your point. It's not about them placating you with a GC and ignoring/dismissing the real issue. Good for you for not settling.

I could have slapped that guy for offering me crap and expecting me to take it, smh...for me, it's not about a silly bag or even the money offered, its about all of US, the customer! The people who make them rich! I'm a fighter at heart, especially when it pertains to something I believe in or value! :)
