And I'm definitely getting this. There's an audacious lipstick at the end that was cut out of the pic.
Wow. I think I'm gonna have to get in on this for the first time. I see some Bite up in there, Nars and what looks like a Fresh lip treatment. These Specktra threads were planting ideas in my head late last night and it made me play around with Hourglass today. Thankfully, not impressed since the blushes do nothing on my skin. One bronzer made me linger until I looked at the price. $50 for a bronzer? Haha-nope!

I had some gift cards for my birthday :D
so why not
Why not? Gift cards are money I spent lol. It's like being gifted the product haha. I used to be able to redeem points on my old credit card for gift cards for a lot of the retailers and then they upgraded me and now I only get miles. I feel like their idea of an upgrade is a downgrade for me lol.

I do that all the time. Nordies and sephora gift cards. plus shopping online trough chase gives me 5-10 points per dollar spent so i earn points faster

Yup! I use it for all my travel and stuff so then I used to get extra points especially with the double and triple points promotions. I think I may downgrade my card so I can start doing that again since I hardly ever use my miles.

Though the packaging of MJ compacts are sleek and nice to look at, they are not sturdy whatsoever. Horrible for travel, and if you drop them and the product doesn't shatter, you are divinely favored!

The other day I dropped my Hourglass Infinity palette and it shattered into a zillion pieces. I was heartbroken. I still haven't replaced it.

LOL! I always feel blessed when I accidentally drop a pressed powder and it doesn't shatter. When my makeup shatters...so does my heart.

That new Marc Jacobs primer sounds similar to the MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion, which is hands down my favorite beauty find of the year. And I love coconut smells! I'm excited to grab it with the new foundation!

What shade are you going to get?
It's too early to give an in-depth review, but my first impressions are quite positive! First off the scent! It has a lovely coconut fragrance that is not *POW* all in your face and overwhelming, but very subtle and calming. Upon first application, the product was very cooling on the skin, I really liked that! The texture has a creamy gel-like consistency to it. From what I felt, there is no "slip" to this primer, feels more like a moisturizer! I allowed it to sit on my face for a few minutes before applying my foundation. As for the claims of this product, I can only vouch for one because this is the first day of actual use and I'm only half way into the day. The claim that stood out immediately, was the smoothing aspect that this primer gives to the face. IT REALLY DOES! WOW! Maybe it's the combo of my foundation and this product, but man does my face look smooth! My foundation applied SOOOOOOOOO nicely! I've been using the YSL blur primer for the past few weeks, and though it is beautiful as well, it did not give me the same results as this MJ coconut primer! I will update tonight on how it wears and lives up to the other claims!

EDIT: For reference, I'm wear the Too Faced Born This Way foundation! Going to go pick up the new MJ foundation today, the sephora location I frequent finally got their stock!
