Oh is it only for Canada? I am in Canada so I guess that makes sense. I don't know why they did it only here though. Did we do something wrong? It's not like they give us access to Flash shipping or any really great perks. Sometimes it takes me a few days or weeks to even get to opening something new I've bought from them so I don't know if I care for the policy or not but it seems to be in line with other store returns in Canada so I guess it's not out of the norm here.
The way the info was delivered to me almost felt like a lecture. I was looking around like a kid trying to escape the principal's office, feeling the heat for something I didn't do.
OMG! same! I got a perfume I can't stand as a gift (omnia crystalline.. if i want to smell like baby powder i'll raid my kids diaper bag lol)..... anyways i know for a fact it was from sephora because i was there when my mom bought it (she initially bought it for herself but then passed it on to me smh) but i didn't have a receipt. btw this was a BRAND NEW perfume, never opened, still in the plastic wrap. so i went in store to try to do an exchange for something more palatable and they LECTURED me about the exchange, refused to do it because now they apparently do not do ANY exchanges without a receipt, and even went so far as to say the perfume wasn't purchased at sephora. if the policy has changed, ok fine, but to insinuate that i am lying or trying to pull the wool over their eyes, is unacceptable. idk what was the point of introducing the tier system if they are just going to treat customers worse and worse the higher up the totem you get. then when i asked for the associates name so i can fill out one of those customer service surveys they always bug you about, the two girls at the cash kept trying to dodge giving me any names, literally making up excuses like "oh we don't have any paper here to write it down sorry" and other ridiculous reasons to try to get out of receiving any negative feedback. i never actually did the survey (lol) but wow, mentioning it sure made them squirm!

anyways, anyone know if this is the policy in the states also? i'd love to exchange the perfume next time i'm in NY if i can.

edit: hold on, you're in canada and they told you they will do store credit? they apparently don't do store credit here anymore since the beginning of the year or so... so sketchy how they can't keep it straight lol. idk what's up with sephora anymore, the bay and shoppers/murale are looking better and better to me...

Picked up these 3 colors earlier tonight. Bow & Arrow is darker and more brown then I thought. I was expecting more of a nudey brown than a browney nude. Requiem is definitely my favorite. Swatched in the photo are Bow & Arrow, Lovesick & Requiem.

I also got a sample of the New Marc Jacobs primer. It wasn't even out, she had to go in the back and make a sample. They had them for sale, but not out on the floor. I don't understand why they hoard new items in the back? A couple of girls asked for these KVD lipsticks and were told they don't have any. Lol. I really can't with Sephora sometimes.

I heard that was the new Canadian policy, they brought it to the US?!

Exactly!!! When dealing with product overload, we need time to get to things and make decisions. And after I've made a decision, getting to a store to make a return isn't always immediately in the cards. I appreciate a 60 day return policy.

I'm thinking seriously about the new Marc Jacobs primer. I wonder how it is on dry skin?
I have dry/combo skin, I'm going to try my tester out tomorrow, I'll definitely report back on how it works for me. I tried a bit on my hand and it's a very thin, runny consistency. Like a watery lotion. I don't think it'll be very hydrating based on the swatch on my hand. And I don't detect a strong coconut scent, it's almost scent less, which is fine with me.

These shadows need to apply themselves at that price point. Does anyone here have any experience with MJ shadows? I have one of the 7 pan palettes but I haven't used it yet. The one I have is Night Owl.
$99 doesn't sound too bad to me. A 7 pan palette is $59.
Look using YSL blur primer , becca and blur perfector!! Since we were discussing about both the ysl products in this thread, posting here!! https://instagram.com/p/5f1o67kZYb/
Great look.. Looks like the MA nails match the packaging.

Thanks so much for swatches! Do you like Lovesick? How does the shade look on you? I just ordered Bow & Arrow. I was hoping for more of a slight pink nude nude.

I want the Hourglass Serum Primer as I know my super dry, sometimes flakey skin loves it. I just can't do $65 for primer! Ugh.

Last night I used the new Origins Original Skin Retexurizing Mask with Rose Clay (lord that's a mouthful!) and I really like it so far! It smelled really nice to me. Didn't irritate or make my skin red. There are little exfoliating beads in it that you're supposed to massage in with wet fingers while washing off. My skin felt sooo soft and nice after. I followed up with the new original skin serum and it absorbs in quickly and nicely and then my usual moisturizer. I woke up this morning and my skin is usually oily to the point of washing it right away. But it feels nice, soft, and hydrated but not oily at all! my cheeks aren't red, and they're often slightly blotchy red normally. I'm going to keep using the serum nightly and the mask 1-2x a week and see how it keeps interacting with my skin!
