OK, so here are some swatches of first the Pink Primer then the Candlelight Highlighting Duo. I'm like NC25-30 with yellow undertone. Primer has two swatches- one blended, one not. I didn't even recognize my own arm close up! Rather disturbing as I look like King Kong, but I swear I don't have heavy arm hair and my wrists are actually pretty tiny! LOL. Natural lighting and indoor lighting.

Thanks so much for the swatches!!! I know the feeling...I always hate seeing my arm, fingernails etc soooooo up-close & personal! And then they end up all over Google ;)

My pleasure, ladies! :bigstar: Also, my SA said you can take the Enhancing Primer and put it OVER your makeup when it's done like in your t-zone and demonstrated. Tried it myself tonight and it's nice that way as well. Now, I do get somewhat oily in T as it's 100 degrees with 95% humidity here, but it's nice. Tried with the most matte foundation I have, which is the Kat Von D, and it looked nice. Imagine it'll be even be better once it gets cooler out in the next few months. I didn't try it with my normally dewy foundations, Hourglass and Koh Gen Do. BTW, also checked out the MJ newest foundation. I'd liken the texture to the CoverFx drops you add to foundation. VERY matte and flat IMO. Amazing coverage, but I have dry skin, I'm not 20, and I only do dewy. Unless I was missing something on how to use it, it's way too matte for me. My 2 cents! :nods:

I just want to give my initial impressions of the primer and powder foundation. I don't know if I should post here or the Fall thread but being that these are perm (I think), I'll post here. The primer went on smooth. I have the peach. I didn't notice anything regarding the color and how it looked on my skin. I didn't notice the color once I smoothed it on. I did think it smoothed out my pores around my cheeks a bit. I didn't wear a glittery blush today so that would be the real test. I wore the powder foundation too. The MA used the bronzer brush so I did the same. He tried to explain to me about the different sides of the sponge giving different coverages but I don't really remember which side was for which kind of coverage so I skipped it and went with the brush since I have a Tom Ford Bronzer brush. The coverage was light but fine for me. The MA told me I could use the cheek brush for more coverage but I didn't want to. I did need a bit more coverage over the side of my face where I have some spots so I put concealer on and switched to the Wayne Goss Holiday brush to pack on a bit more of the foundation. It looked great! I thought my face looked wonderful! The only problem is I used the Tatcha luminous skin mist for the first time too. My T zone was a bit glowy but not oily looking. I don't know how much of the look was attributable to each product. Next time, I have to remember to only use one new product at a time so I can see the effects of each. After several hours my nose looked a touch more shiny but not really oily. I didn't feel like I needed to powder it but there was a difference from the morning. Perhaps next time, I'll use the Wayne Goss brush when I apply it to my nose.

Also I've been having a problem with dryness on my face even in this weather. I went with a lighter moisturizer today. Sometimes it looks fine in the morning and as the day wears on I start looking dry around my cheek area. I didn't notice any dryness this morning or even now. Again, it might be attributable to the Tatcha. I asked the Tatcha rep about this problem and she said that I would see less dryness as the day wore on. Oh and I used the Tatcha before I put on the primer. I'm not sure if that was how I was supposed to do it. I used either Fix+ or Charged Water Spray when I was done. I don't really recall.

Oh this was supposed to be a TF review but it sounds more like a Tatcha review. Sorry about that.

Nice comprehensive review ICL---thank you! Tatcha is very moisturizing---I've skipped my cream moisturizer and used Tatcha before my primer and after all of my
makeup for that final non-oily glow!!!

According to Raymond (Neiman's/SF), there will be 50 new TF lips & boys style lipsticks released on Black Friday. 25 are previous releases, and 25 are new shades.

Now I'm getting confused. 50 lips and boys...now what about the 30 lipsticks that are being released in a week or so (the ones Niecy posted about). I can't imagine there's going to be 80 lipstick releases in the next few months? Lol

I can't wait for this. I literally bought half the Boys last time, they're probably my most used lipsticks. Maybe this time around some of the new shades will be mattes?

BTW, if there's any Aussies lurking, the summer collection has finally hit DJ's online.
