Depends. What kind of shades do you like? Risky, safe, etc. Stone was a must for me. Up until last week it was sold out on the MAC website (it's perm so they'll restock). Not everyone likes it though. Good safe one, maybe Whirl. Then again Stone is safe to me. Risky, Matte Royal but that's not an everyday color. If I can only buy one lipstick from this collection... What would it be???
I actually like them all but I can't decide which one should I purchase first..Depends. What kind of shades do you like? Risky, safe, etc. Stone was a must for me. MAC Prep & Prime Lip. If you have any Aquaphor lying around it should also do the job just fine, if not better. The MAC offering has been my HG for donkey's ears but I find myself reaching for Aquaphor more often these days. What lip primers does everyone like under these?
Oh wow, thanks for the tip.MAC Prep & Prime Lip. If you have any Aquaphor lying around it should also do the job just fine, if not better. The MAC offering has been my HG for donkey's ears but I find myself reaching for Aquaphor more often these days.
No probs. It's always a case of YMMV with primers (and every other cosmetic product under the sun, for that matter. lol), so fingers crossed it works for youOh wow, thanks for the tip.

The best lip brush is the one from Tom Ford. Yes, I own the Mac brush, and it is OK, as is the Chanel. I have two of those. One that has a cover on it and one that is at an angle. I use the TF for the matte lip products. Regardless who makes them.sorry for posting this here but I just wonder if anyone have the mac lip brush and does it work well with these matte lipsticks or does a regular cheaper option work as well? I need a good lip brush!
The 316? I like it for blending the liner into the lipstick. It's not great for smoothing imo, like if you want to maybe smooth over lip cracks or even-out I find it takes away product because it's so flat and stiff. Maybe it's just me though. I have an elf one (regular collection, $1 or $2), totally different brush, more of a "brush", different bristles and a bit fluffier. I just bought the elf Studio retractable one for my purse, haven't tried it yet.sorry for posting this here but I just wonder if anyone have the mac lip brush and does it work well with these matte lipsticks or does a regular cheaper option work as well?
