I know what you mean about the 5.5. I got a deluxe size sample from sephora & when I didn't have a tan it was too dark for me, but for summer while I have a bit more color, it is suiting me nicely so I've been using the liquid sample. Once I lose the tan, it'll be a tad too dark for me. Honestly, I feel like I'm in between shades with this brand as well. I feel 5 is not perfect for me, so I don't believe i have a perfect Match w GA. So I know what you mean with not being totally satisfied with 5 or 5.5 Hopefully you can find a shade you like in the compact if you choose to get it!

Yep these 2 are repromotes! I have electric pink but I want desperately Velvet Violet!!!for the other colors I would like to check in person :)

Oh good, I'm so happy to hear you're boat with the #5. It really is a lovely foundation, I love the texture & finish! I used to like the EL double wear years ago, but it's way Too thick, heavy & matte For my taste. I'm usually running late at the airport as well, so I know how that is! Look fwd to hearing about any goodies you might pick up at duty free.

I haven't used mine yet but when I do I just might try my TF foundation brush---it's small and dense and will really grab the product. I typically use a fan brush,
or a MAC 159, 130, 188 or 138. Experiment and use what feels comfortable and right for you.

There will also be new nail polishes for the Fall, along with the "midnight" cream shadow and powder shadow like they had for summer. The gold mascara, as well as the new liner.
