You're not a bit wrong about the opacity. I had the same trouble. @AdelieDragon was right when she said it's like Pure Heroine. My Pure Heroine is not very opaque and slippery. Royally Riotous is similar but it's easier to pull off as it's a neutral. I really think they've changed the amplified formula.

I hope not!!! D: Amplified is like one of my top formulas from MAC!

Maybe it's that dark shade? Because Make Me Gorgeous is nice. I have Pure Heroine and wore it like once because of the same issue.

It might be. I know I've heard it's hard to find a good dark matte that isn't patchy, much less in a more slippery formula! I don't know, it just seems like my Toying Around and Red Balloon set eventually to where I didn't have to worry about feathering, but Pure Heroine, "Heaux", and Royally Riotous don't do that. Maybe there are certain pigments that just don't do well in that formula.

I'm ordering Heaux 2.0 and Royally Riotous now. RR will probably look terrible on me but I like how it looks in swatches. I love the idea of a brown/nude lip lately even though it doesn't go the best with my coloring. I'm digging that the grunge-90's vibe is coming back.

Okay it's Amplified like MAC says! I surrender! :bouquet: All I know is my Heaux falls on the less opaque end of the spectrum in the Amps I have. It's pretty sheer.

Lol I know what you mean though; I got Tribalist (Amplified Creme) from Heirloom Mix last year. I like it because it's a distinctly amp Creme; it's less matte than a Satin, no sparkle like CS&P, none of the negative qualities of Pure Heroine What I miss about the old MAC site is that right now I'd be looking at the Amplifieds and the Amplified Cremes sorted by finish lol

I know Heaux is online-exclusive, maybe thqt's why. What's the other shade we're discussing? Is that one too? MAC is full of shit and that shiny Heaux should have been CCO price in the first place let alone an extra $1 than the others!

Royally Riotous is the other online exclusive! I'm glad I got it at 16,but agree it should of been CCO priced. NYX

When I got Tribalist last year, the MAC website said it was a frost (that's why I got it in the first place). When I received it over the weekend and saw it was Amped, I felt disappointed but it's a nice lipstick. It still is a nice lipstick today, This whole Faux Heaux thing has happened before
