I noticed that Rouge Noir Le Vernis has the same designated number as Vamp------they're both # 18. When I compare them side/side Vamp has a bit of shimmer.Thanks!Unfortunately no.

Have you experienced dryness with other Chanel RAs? I certainly understand your hesitation to purchase it.. Hopefully someone here who purchased Pensive canThanks Medgal, I also use lip balms on its own and under lipstick but my lips are still dry. One of the few lip products that I find actually improves the condition of my lips is the Dior Addict fluid stick. I'll have to try the Rouge Coco Baume. Thanks for the recommendation.

I totally agree with you! She always states that she is rating products according to what the brand claims for the product but i think this is an old fashioned way of rating. Of course there are eye shadows that perform better even without a primer , (For Entrelacs i read a lot of rants from other bloggers too so i think that she is quite to the point for this product) and let's talk honestly now.if this palette(Entrelacs ) was not released from Chanel everyone would react like :"another neutral palette, i don't care! I have thousands of neutral palettes" All in all, My thought is Who is gonna pay 80 dollars for a Chanel palette that only 2 of the 5 eyeshadows are good and the rest mediocre? Only the collector or someone that adores neutrals and wants everything released from this shade range.My personal experience with this blogger was Nars Dual Intensity Callisto.She gave B+ but for me the eyeshadow is A+++++ so it's on everyones taste and personal preferences of how we like a product! (And i didnot like at all the washed out look she had created with Callisto Dione and Andromeda just for reference! ) because you cannot end up so washed out with so pigmented eyeshadows which are in my top 10 and i use regularly.Sorry for the long post

Again, to me try it for yourself. Not all makeup works the same on all people. Do my Mama's face with her Snow White complexion, and someone who might be just a tad bit more color, and BAM it looks totally different. I actually do like the swatches from pro bloggers that show the product on various skin tones.

I agree!! Entrelacs isn't one of the best offerings from Chanel!! It is workable with a primer but without one it can be a lost cause!! :haha: the last 2 quints from Chanel has been a miss for me ( intemporels and Entrelacs) !! I still use them with a primer since I have both but looking back could have skipped both easily except for the pretty patterns lmao!! At the same time a lot of new shadows are moving towards silicon based derivatives which give them that creamy texture!! Those will perform better than the talc based ones without a primer!! Use of a primer will level the field to an extent!!if the same logic is applied to everything, blushes should probably be tested in bare skin and not over foundation!! At the end of the day it's a personal blog and I respect the decisions involved!! But I prefer the swatches/ pictures to the actual reviews because of the same!!I totally agree with you! I personally found it more drying than the other RAs and the wear time was not as good. It's a nice shade for unpigmented lips. I think you can probably get a similar shade in another formula.Thanks Medgal, I also use lip balms on its own and under lipstick but my lips are still dry. Me too Vee! I respect and appreciate what she does even if I don't always agree with her findings. Especially since I don't think there is ANY blogger out there who has a swatch library and comparison as detailed as hers. I also appreciate that she includes pics of her bare lips next to the lip swatches and then also includes a full face as I find often times, it is difficult to really appreciate a shade from an upclose lip shot. My main qualm with her is that a lot of times she will swatch something and the swatch looks workable but then the eye look is just sheer and blended out into nothing-ness. The lighting doesn't bother me because I know it so well now that I self-adjust in my head! lol. That said, I look at the grades and the swatch pictures these days and do not really look at the ratings. I was at the crucial point of buying Intemporel for collective reasons due to its symbolic release and the beautiful pattern with the 2.55 chain but i wasn't impressed by the swatches that i did myself on my skintone as very correctly Ashievic stated and there were so many great products at that time that i wanted to explore so i skipped! Now with the Entrelacs i find 80 dollars or 75 euros or 800 kr too much for a underperforming neutral palette but with a so beautiful pattern!!But then i will wait patiently to swatch it myself since i trust my eyes more than anyone's else!! As for the primer sometimes when i'm in a hurry i don't use one without any visible problem . In that case i prefer wearing eyeshadows that i know are pigmented so i will end up with a safe and sound look.and you are so right qbout the blush testing( no blush would be raved tested on bare skin due to natural redness or extra pale face which would totally change the final shade and performance) ! Of course i respect every blogger's opinion out there but then if i want one product desperately i search all the blogs , swatches and pics i can find and the final judgement is done on the counter! For all these years of blogging her makeup skills have not improved at all. And it's so sad because she has such a great potential. She could have learned from someone even maybe hire someone to teach her and do her looks for the blog. Either that or just stop doing eye looks.

Hi ladies! new to the thread here - I dropped by the Chanel counter in Sydney today and thought I'd post a pic of the infiniment powder that doesn't seem to have been released in the states? (It's usually the other way around) I'm still contemplating whether I should get it here or through a friend of mine in the states when I get the Tom ford stuff sent over from her as it'll be cheaper and I can get some cashback :/ does anyone know when it's being released? It's priced at 90 Australian dollars here in Australia. It's a really beautiful powder in person and if you already own the les beiges powder in shade 1 (pink striped one) they are different enough for you to have both
