I rarely use my points, the Fresh 500 point one they had was good! But honestly the store I frequent in my mall knows me and they have no problem giving me a few weeks worth of samples to try because they know I'll spend $$. I think the point system should be more like Ulta. 100 points is $3 or something like that. That's pretty reasonable!

yes plus very often they give 5x or 3x points. either on the whole purchase or on certain brands

But if you save them up - they accrue faster. Like 100 points = $3, 500 points = $17.50, 1,000 points = $50 , but 2,000 points = $125 !

Which is less of a value than Sephora’s Epic rewards, but everyone has the ability to get to that level.. and can use it on whatever they want... which is more fair.

I never spend my points until I get to 2,000... and I always wait for a good gift with purchase.. Ulta also gives the 20% off like 4 times a year.. IMO, it is a better company, but of course they don’t sell all of the same brands as Sephora..

You're absolutely right! It's a great rewards system that Ulta has. Even if Sephora did something like, oh you can only use $ off on brands A B and C this month or something. And frankly that would make me buy more. They need a marketing overhaul.

I'm having a horrible, horrible allergic reaction on my body and I've noticed that the last few times I've worn makeup, my face feels tingly. I'm wondering if that's all in my mind because I'm dealing with this allergy or what. Looking at the ingredients on the box of the MUFE Ultra HD liquid and stick there's Bismuth Oxychloride. That's an irritant for me, but any other time, the reaction on my face is more severe. There's no physical signs of allergy, just tingling. I have to wait for the rest of my body to clear up before I decide if what I'm feeling on my face is real or not. If MUFE is using BO in their foundations now it's the end of the world for me.

I hope it isn't the foundation. I saw you raving about it and I checked it out on Sephora and watched the video they have posted. Love how you just swipe it on and then blend. The finish looks amazing too! I plan to give it a try the next time I go to Sephora.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already but according to people in the Beauty Talk forum on Sephora, some Sephora employees have said that they got some of the rewards on their social media accounts (they even got some screenshots). Sephora stated that employees were not eligible to redeem any of the epic rewards and some people feel that because they work for the company, that they may have gotten an unfair advantage of knowing when they would be listed and were able to snatch some up leaving customers with fewer rewards to get. People were reporting these employees to Sephora through Twitter.

You know, this bothers me a lot less that I thought it would--I think this is unfortunate but I think that these employees will pay the price (argh!). Any place that employs large numbers of people will have some people in the mix who don't follow the rules. The short supply of items was the big shocking disappointment to me.

I think this is hitting the internet press. I have to sign off and do some work. In the meantime: http://consumerist.com/2015/08/10/sephora-promises-epic-rewards-customers-get-epic-letdown/

Although I think that they shouldn't have redeemed the rewards if Sephora told customers they weren't allowed to in writing, I think it's a terrible thing for someone to potentially lose their job over (the rewards are nice but not worth putting yourself in a compromising position for). They should have just followed the rules and certainly shouldn't have posted it on social media because this just agitated customers who were already upset even further and I'm sure this is another thing on an already long list of complaints that customer service is going to have to hear about.

That makes you and another Specktrette that got the E&J one so we know they had at least 2 of those! Fingers crossed you get your shipping notice soon! That MJ 1,000 point reward was such a good one! And that hung around for a while if I recall. Sephora's greater brand house has so many brands that I don't think they have an excuse for offering us the crap that they do so regularly. Between MJ, KVD, Formula X, the Sephora brand, MUFE etc. they could offer us better rewards. I'm sure LVMH has no lack for money!

I'm glad it's at least being buzzed about, Sephora needs to realize that a handful of each perk when they have who knows how many customers doesn't cut it
