The Little Boy needed his diaper changed. That's the problem with little Boy's. They may think taking a twinkle is fun since they can stand. But I have found some are just too busy playing to stop and address the other.

I tried on my Blush Nude yesterday & it's lost it's flavor/going bad  I haven't had it that long either. I have ancient Mac lipsticks & they are still like brand new.
I've purchased Blush Nude from the CCO in the past and as soon as I opened it it was bad. It's been on my wish list ever since. Now, I've committed to only buying and finishing any TF lipsticks I have. I can't believe they go bad so quickly.

Eeep! I have TF Blush Nude and it's in heavy rotation but it still is going to be awhile before I finish it. If it goes bad I am going to be pissed.

How long after purchase?
It was a few months after but I buy from her regularly so that could make a difference.

I returned my orchid haze quad too, I don' know if it totally went bad but after about 6 months the shadows didn't apply like they did when I first bought it. The texture certainly had changed.

I love Gucci quads!

OMG---I have > 15 TF quads and thankfully havn't had this issue with any of them----in fact I don't recall ever having an E/S palette go bad/change like that with any brand that I use.

I have never had any eyeshadow go bad. If purchased at an outlet store, the storage of it prior to being sold there, might not have been all that great. Also, It is urban legend that some of the products sold at outlet stores are so-called seconds or possible returns. Nope, have no actual proof of the urban legend.

Never had an eyeshadow go bad. And the Lavender Lust I purchased at a CCO was pristine. They open it for you to check before you buy it. I can't remember the last time they did that at a counter in a dept. store.

So true. People have even gotten things through online purchases that were obviously used/touched. I think a
reputable seller---------and as I understand it these CCOs are, but I would think anyone could get into legal trouble
trying to pass off used items as new.

At the stores I purchase at, they always open to make sure it is perfection. One of the chic's I work with was working as a temp at a the outlet store. She swears some not all had been used or were seconds. When I asked Daddy, he said think about it. Even Mr. Ford might have had a bad day in production. Not the quality he demands. But it is well known less then perfection is usable. But the HE stores would not be happy.

When I was in college which was in BFI, there was an outlet mall. The P's would go there to purchase my towels and stuff. They worked, they dried off my cute little bottom. Or another is if the manufacturer that thought a certain color would sell like hot cakes, but was a dude, that ends up at the outlet mall. I have nothing against outlet malls. Heck, I love Goodwill stores provided they are located in a high end burb. Better donations and I got a St. John's jacket for 10.00 with the tags still on it.

On a lighter note, I am outta here!!!!! Got a layover in the city boyfriend lives in. Gee, might miss the connecting flight to Chicago....aw shucks. I am tired of mud, sleeping in a wet tent, and living in the woods. Should be back in the real world by tonight!!!!

Does anyone know what is Neiman Marcus' return policy if the lipstick had been used? I have not returned any lipsticks in my lifetime (except one that came broken and smeared) but I bought a lot of TF lippies recently and would hate to hold onto one if it came broken or if the color looks terrible on me.

I saw a lady at Nordstrom put a lipstick I returned back in the stock and I told her no, I HAVE used it although it looks new. I a lot of returns do go back in the stock pile and I was glad I saw her do that. Now I make sure they but the damage sticker on there before I leave to be sure they do not put it back with the stock.

TF quads don't work well for me for some reason, so I just don't bother with them. Another person mentioned the quads being weird with them as well on another beauty site, so it doesn't appear to be a big thing. I'd say just check your items before applying them especially if its been awhile since you've used it.

If the lipstick is broken I don't see why they wouldn't take it back or at the very least exchange it or get store credit. However if it's been used it's probably going to depend on the SA, they might take it back or they may not. It probably would be helpful if you say you don't mind exchanging or getting store credit.

That is very scary. I can't think of much worse than buying a lipstick that is used!! Well, maybe mascara.
