Chanel Rouge Noir Absolument - Holiday 2015

I have to say I like a collection even more if there's variation and not just one colour repeated for eyeshadow, blush, lipstick and nailpolish. Sometimes exactly matching colours look nice, because it's a calculated look, but very often it simply looks boring.

I'm totally smitten with this holiday collection. Over here we still wait for the autumn one to come out, and it seems we're not getting the quad. I'm so grateful that I've let my make-up greed run wild and get it from Harrod's! I guess I'll have to keep an eye on their website for the holiday colllection as well.

Likewise. I wish that would release it already!!!

And even then, Nordies has it hidden! I wish they would list the items as new and separately like most other retailers do. I'm too much of a mess to keep track of things and go hunting. I need to sort by new and see what I want.

Bergdorf's was the only retailer to show and list them as new, but even then, they had the names/pics of the NPs reversed.

I just got a shipping notice from Nordies for my JCL Coups de Minuit order but it's the samples that are shipping! How crazy is that

It cracks me up the stupid free samples come real UPS, then the product I actually ordered comes dumb post. I checked, it is coming from the warehouse, not a store, as suggested previously why this occurs. So I can get what I don't care about in 2 days, but what I really want I have to wait 7-10 days, ugh......

About T's troll reviews (and other people's reviews), I don't really pay attention to them. What I care about is what the colours look like and to find out if I already have something similar in my hoarding closet.

I like checking out things on the store, to see if they work on my skin and if they're good enough (many times these reviwers know less about how to use a product than me, which is staggering because I'm really dumb about makeup)

About stupid shipping, my last buy has my products + 2 samples coming on a box... and 1ml sample coming on another box on its own. I tried to resolve the issue by sending an email to them, but it was already too late. So yeah, I'm here waiting for a really embarassing shipping moment.

Rouge Allure has been up on Selfridges and Harrods since Thursday (or Friday?), I'm waiting for HoF. Apparently, Nov 6th is the official launch date for Rouge noir but I think it will be released earlier in some stores.

This thread BLEW UP since the last time I was able to hop on specktra. I've been soooo horribly busy lately.

I now have a huge list of the small RA collection and the holiday collection. Although, I'm getting all sorts of mixed up when it comes to names and colors and such.

I agree---we need to stop reading the reviews---consider it a coffee table book and just look at the pictures

That's what I do. I don't read the reviews.

It's not the final deciding factor but T's reviews help me a lot. I can't see these items IRL before buying and I find the site helpful. It's a massive undertaking and I appreciate it.
