I am wearing Quartz right now. Pulled it out to see if I wanted to get Rose Fusion. They are close from what I can tell from swatch photos. I'm not 100% sure as I have yet to swatch Rose Fusion, but to me Quartz looks a tad cooler. It's almost perfectly neutral, where to my eye Rose Fusion looks slightly warmer and bronzier. Yes, there is sometimes pink in Rose Fusion but it seems that it depends on lighting and how it pulls on different people. Some have even described it as green. So more of a chameleon. I also have to say that the formula on Quartz is thin but trouble free. Three coats and good to go. Whereas Rose Fusion looks streaky in almost every swatch I've seen and from experience, I know that if an np can go streaky, it will likely streak on me. Now that I am wearing Quartz -- for the first time--- I really like it and wonder why I never made a point of it earlier. Probably because Peridot was such a stunner. But working in a place that is np conservative, I really appreciate a neutral silvery taupe and can see wearing it regularly this season.

Rouge Noir is currently widely available in the UK in the normal packaging (without the holiday red Cs). There is a ban on international postage of nail polish, but if you know someone visiting here whenever, it should still be available in the long term.

I had already asked my local Chanel counter to put aside a Rose Fusion for me when I collected Troublante [I think its 7th November release here in the UK ]
However I was not sure about it from swatches I've seen so far ! I have Sweet Star which The Husband located when he was in Dublin for me as it was not released in the UK but its not a favourite and most comparisons I've seen so far were against this.

This really shows how it sits in with the other similar polishes and is a definite YES for me. Quartz, Terrana and Black Pearl are in my Top 10 favourites !

Sweet Star was released here - I got it from Selfridges. I'd say it's still available on some websites but I'm not 100% sure.

Ah yes, you are correct. It was a Selfridges only special but as I don't live in London* it was easier for Himself to get it from Brown Thomas as he was in Ireland.

Repeat to self ... I an not a nail polish addict, I do not have a problem, LOL !


*Edit: I always forget there are Selfridges in Manchester and Birmingham too !

I don't wear a liner with it, and it's more of a red-berry/brown with a hint of pink on me

Looking at Ernie's swatches I thought the quad does look very close to Harmonie du Soir. This one seems a bit darker overall, less red-themed, but do I really need it since I have HdS???
