Looks much prettier than I imagined! I don't like her but I didn't like Miley either and I got her first one. It's a pretty unique color too, and not one I'd normally buy...I'm trying to branch out more from my usual pinks and corals so this is definitely on my list! Just saw the lipglass...they certainly don't look like they'd go together but they're both really pretty so I'm excited. I still have to get Viva Glam Miley II and both her lipglasses.

I don't know why MAC chose Ariana Grande as the next spokesperson for their campaign. Why do they keep choosing little girls and not real celebrities like Beyoncé or even Britney. MAC should think about their target group. No offense to anyone but I think the majority of Ariana's fans are young girls or boys who can hardly be MAC's target group with MAC becoming more and more expensive with about every collection. On another note, I so hope it will be a nice nude or rosewood. Something other than red or pink. I seriously will throw a tantrum of they go for another red. Edit: Well, I just saw the lipstick and lipglass and it's just not for me.

I suspect that Mac is trying to appeal to a younger audience, getting them into makeup at an earlier age and hoping to keep their loyalty. The VG spokespeople used to be more "iconic" figures rather than people who were popular at that moment. It's only in the last few years (since Gaga) that they've changed their focus. I miss the old ways, but I think the people they're choosing now are more in line with their overall marketing. I don't know anything about Ariana Grande, aside from occasionally seeing her in InStyle. I do like vamp lips and it's a good cause, so I can see grabbing this one, if the formula is good.

The only thing I know is that she's super popular among teenagers...like others, I'd love to see more iconic people again. The lipstick is not for me although I like to see that dark lip trend. I might pick up the gloss because finally, there's a new subtle VG shade.

I'm liking that dark vampy lippie very much. I'm not a fan of Ariana though. She seems like a spoiled brat to me. I also can't make out what she's saying in any of her songs. It's like she has marbles in her mouth. Since this is for a great cause I am going to try and get the lippie. Does this come out in December or January? Does anyone know? I apologize if it has been mentioned. I've been having computer issues lately and am not online as much.

I don't know if she's advocated for LGBT rights, but her brother is gay so I know they're important to her.

She's actually a pretty talented singer (very Mariah Carey, although more nasally tbh) and her songs aren't awful, just your standard pop r&b songs. I've never been crazy about her as a person--she seems incredibly entitled and very full of herself. However she's very LGBTQ+ friendly, which is always a great thing. Overall I think she's honestly less problematic than Miley--who has done a lot of good but also continues to do a lot of bad, especially in the way of appropriating.
