All this talk about TTT dupes..... I don't own it, but knowing MAC we may get it soon in an amplified or cremesheen version.

I was going to skip this, Nay. BUT if it is a Talk That Talk dupe I will buy THREE for sure.  In factI wore TTT this weekend. It is so pretty. I am getting excited now.
After seeing it, I think it is a bit too purple toned. I sold my TTT awhile so though so I might be wrong.

i think TTT leans toward burgundy. VGAG looks too purple to be a dupe

I have Cyber, and I hardly ever wear it. I think I will B2M it and get Instigator instead. Cyber is just way too dark on my fair skin. It looks more black than purple.

Erine- Do you think this is a TTT dupe?
I sold my TTT lipstick a long time ago (way too dry to try to and make work), but I kept the liner. TTT is more burgany, where VGAG is a deeper plum black with a red undertone, along the lines of Nightmoth.

I don't know if she's advocated for LGBT rights, but her brother is gay so I know they're important to her.
She's actually a pretty talented singer (very Mariah Carey, although more nasally tbh) and her songs aren't awful, just your standard pop r&b songs. I've never been crazy about her as a person--she seems incredibly entitled and very full of herself. However she's very LGBTQ+ friendly, which is always a great thing. Overall I think she's honestly less problematic than Miley--who has done a lot of good but also continues to do a lot of bad, especially in the way of appropriating.
Thank you for explaining. So she hasn't been chosen "just" because she's cute and popular, I guess.

I did a little bit more research. It sounds like she's actually pretty active. Straight from Wikipedia:
"At the age of ten Grande co-founded the South Florida youth singing group Kids Who Care, which performed for charitable fund-raising events and raised over $500,000 for charities in 2007 alone.[SUP][16][/SUP] In the summer of 2009, as a member of the charitable organization Broadway in South Africa, Grande, along with her brother Frankie, performed and taught music and dance to children in Gugulethu, South Africa .[SUP][127][/SUP][SUP][128][/SUP] After watching Blackfish, she urged fans to stop supporting SeaWorld and has become a vegan.[SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][129][/SUP]
She was featured, along with Bridgit Mendler and Kat Graham, in Seventeen magazine in a March 2013 public campaign to end online bullying called "Delete Digital Drama" .[SUP][130][/SUP] In September 2014, Grande participated at the charitable Stand Up to Cancer television program, performing the title track "My Everything" in dedication to her grandfather, who had died from cancer in July.[SUP][131][/SUP] Grande, who has adopted several rescue dogs as pets, promoted pet adoption and paid the adoption fees of 35 rescue dogs in connection with her concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City and American Airlines Arena in Miami in March 2015.[SUP][132][/SUP][SUP][133][/SUP]
A few of her works, such as the songs Break Your Heart Right Back and Break Free also touch upon LGBT themes.[SUP][134][/SUP] In May 2015, Grande and Miley Cyrus performed a cover of Crowded House's Don't Dream It's Over to raise awareness for Cyrus's Happy Hippie Foundation, which helps homeless and LGBT youths.[SUP][135][/SUP] The song was part of Cyrus's series of "Backyard Sessions" collaborations.[SUP][136][/SUP] In June 2015, Grande headlined the Dance On the Pier event, part of the LGBT Pride Week in New York City,[SUP][100][/SUP][SUP][137][/SUP] giving "one of the best performances the event has ever seen."[SUP][138]"[/SUP]

Oh, surprizing! Didn't expect her to be this active. Btw, I'd love a campaign with activists (bloggers/authors) who aren't celebrities. I dunno if it would sell well (probably not), but it would be great.

I dig a vampy lip but no need to add more since I dont wear the ones I have too often. Dark Deed is as dark as I go. Feel if it's too dark it makes my lips look even thinner. Which I'm really sensitive about. I'll probably get the viva glam holiday set later on. I know I'll wear that and even the gloss.

Not interested in the new VG lipstick at all. I would look like an over the hill goth wearing that. The lip gloss I kinda like.

There's some new glosses...

... And they don't tickle my fancy
I think they look good. there are a few interesting colors so I'm excited.
I really hope VGAG is a TTT dupe in a less patchy formula.
me too! I hated TTT
VG Ariana is gorgeous
It does look a lot like Cyber.
cyber but better

good. sounds 100% better
yes it looks a bit too black for me. I love dark vampy shades but not this dark. if it were more plum than black I would looooveee it. oh well. I'm happy anyway that it's a more interesting color for VG for once!
I feel like this is the color for the ad and not how it's going to really look in real life. MAC tends to add base colors to amp up the product for photos and when the colors are released, they look nothing like the advertisement.

Mac certainly did this with Pure Heroine. The ad campaign swatch looked nothing like the actual lipstick.

good to know. I had to avoid the Miley lippie.

I noticed her talent during a Kimmel skit where she had to mimic other performers. Impressive, but still not impressed by her. That whole donut thing and the entitled attitude pisses me off. I hate that from ANYONE. But her activism is impressive.

I knew of her before her singing career took off. She was in an annoying Nickelodeon show that my niece and son like...omg she is majorly annoying in it! The voice she puts on!

^ Lol.

I'm skipping Ariana's lipstick as well. But I am going to buy a new tube of Viva Glam II, so it all evens out since they are both for the same good cause.
