MAC Early Buzz - News for Upcoming Collections in 2016

I didn't realize the Studio Perfecting powder & stick were already released here. Did anyone play with those yet? Since I have a gazillion powders already I'd love to read some reviews first.
There also seems to be a new duo pencil sharpener, at least this one looks different in the promo pic and is labeled as new on the Douglas site. (7,50€ for a sharpener? )

I am hoping we get info as well , I too, have searched on google , but to no avail. Last year we had our first info regarding holiday collection on August 12 ,2015.

I really like a couple of those. They shoulda put more different colors though instead of so many bright pinks. Happy they added a blue and what looks like a black.

Is it just me or releases and information about releases has been SUPER SLOW! Here's a video on the new Strobe powders but no info on dates, perm or LE, etc.... This is very unusual for MAC no?

They've been getting more tight-lipped about release dates and whatnot year after year, which makes sharing information harder and harder.

Also keep in mind that that info wasn't shared by MAC, but by a makeup artist. Even Dominic (dominic_mua on Instagram) -- who is a senior MAC MUA -- has almost never shared release dates when he's shared information about and swatches of upcoming products.

They should realize that they are just screwing themselves. If people find out about a collection a week or 2 before it releases, chances are, those people won't have money for it. It's better to know ahead of time so people can save up money. None of their items ever sell out now, they need all the sales they can get.

Then there's those Quicktrik Sticks that completely disappeared, and all the items that have been marked as out of stock or coming soon for a good 4 months or more, like most of the Chromalines, etc. Idk what is up with them lately.

Agreed. I'm not into marketing, economics and all that jazz... But their sales have gone down quite a bit in the UK. Sales have gone down so much (don't know how much by), that the majority of Trolls, Strike and Star Trek are still in stock.

Something is going on behind the scenes, but what... Only they know, and it will hit them in the pocket.
