I got my email, I just didn't get anything additional about the refund (was it in the same email?) I did not see the fine print. Doggone it. LOL Oh well, there are a few perm products I want. I can get those if the code doesn't work on new collex.

Well there is fine print in the email about it not applying to "items noted as not eligible" which I assume will be new collections. I'm sure you're email is coming. They probably have quite a lot of people to get through.

I received my Mineral Skinfinishes today and the lipstick. Macy's decided to send my skinfinishes in a bag while they put my lipstick in a box. Really Macy's? I'm happy I received them though and can't wait to test them out! & as expected both labels are incorrect.

L-R Strip Me Down, Taupe, Persistence (On NC35, may be a smidge darker as I still have my summer tan)

Strip Me Down is ok, I don't love it, I don't hate it. It is similar to Taupe but with a different undertone. Taupe is still my favourite of the 3.

Taupe is such a pretty color!

I wonder if they are struggling. With the lack of sell out collections it seems they are doing whatever they can to keep the customers they do have.

I think that is probably what it is. Just like how they were offering 20% off for the first time in probably ever and now being part of Ebates. Let's hope for their sake that it's not too little, too late.

Just got my email to keep the mix up product and they will send out the new product as soon as it's manufactured 2-4 months, they refunded the money and a $25 dollar credit!!! Thank you and bring on Selena!!!

I just got an email from MAC for a $25 off code because of the big mix up in labelling!!! Did anyone else get it yet?!? OMG...how awesome!

Ooh Ooh. So glad I checked out this thread. Ran to my email and found the credit. Yay! I was just on the site looking at products I want but haven't gotten around to getting yet. I think I may just use it for that. I don't know if I can wait for Selena. Plus, it expires at the end of October. I'll probably forget about it and miss out. So happy.

Yep like you I ordered both and wasn't expecting to get anything out of the mixup. Maybe a restock at best and an opportunity to get my hands on a couple more for family and friends. This is unprecedented. Now to decide what to get next.


Edit: I'm considering that toothbrush brush, the oval 6. Anyone try it out? Comparison to the Artis brushes?

I got a response back from Mac. Refund, keep the product sent in error, sending the correct product and a $25 off code. Hope everyone gets theirs soon.

Received the same response of refund, keep the wrong product, and $25 off next purchase over $25 but the correct product will take an estimated 2-4 months to arrive.

In the meantime, the evilbay offers of $300+ for TG continues.

I got the oval 6 a few months ago and love it, but the other day I was using it and the neck cracked on it. I never used a lot of pressure when applying my foundation and always would put a finger behind it to make sure it was supported since the neck is so thin. Way bummed.

Thanks for the heads up about the brush. I was worried that it would do that. Bummer. I think I will use the $25 toward a brush of some sort.

Thanks girl! It's not exactly the color I'd hoped for but I still really like it. If there will be restock here (and I catch it in time) I'll order it and if not too bad I guess..

And they are definitely mislabeled everywhere unfortunately.

I will use my $25 to replenish staples. Frees up more $ for Selena collection. I doubt that collection will qualify for the $25.
