I'm not so sure. The brush set from a few years ago sold like hotcakes and I think it was $1200. However, it included all the brushes in the line. I think it was either the same price as all the brushes bought individually or a little bit more.

This set is a lot more than the price of the brushes so I guess you are paying for the leather case.

It's not even that nice looking of a case. If it was a case that could perhaps double as a dinner clutch.... I could understand the price but I can't see why it costs that much.

The case doesn't even look large enough to fit anything else in it. At least if you could put additional items in there to make it suitable for travel... Well no, forget that, I still think it's too much.
