As for Sephora stuffs...I saw news of the new PMcG Eye Ecstasy set...was immediately in lust...however I have plans to purchase a different PMcG item. Just waiting on the spring coupon.;)

This may have been mentioned earlier, but I was surprised that the points required for $100 rouge reward has gone up. I was told that it is now 2500 points for the reward :(
Anyone else see this?

I thought that's what it was from the start.

"Rouge members will now also have the option to redeem 2,500 points for a $100 Rouge Reward to use on their fave Sephora products."

Did anybody buy The Ordinary new Peeling Solution? I did & it's fabulous! I like it better than DE. I noticed that most of the reviews say that it stings like crazy - it did not on me, not even a little. Hopefully my product is ok lol. I kept waiting for my skin to catch fire & melt off the way they talked. Nope, nothing. The product made my skin super super smooth, soft & brightened/even toned.

Oh, my Neulash eyelash update: VERY, very long eyelashes now :wootrock::yay:

How is it different from the DE Babyfacial? I am super happy with DE and I don't want to change a winning team. Still interested though.

When I got one last year it was for 2500 points.

I use the complete DE line exclusively. TLC is my favorite, but I wouldn't want to miss any other DE items either. I could do without A-Passioni though as I have a Retin-A prescription. The only thing that I miss is shopping new products. It can get boring only using DE. I hope DE comes up with some new fun products - just to change up my routine.

No, definitely do not change if you are happy. I found that when I've done that in the past, I regretted it. Its just slightly different & maybe that was because it was my first use. I felt that it made my skin even softer/smoother & a bit more even toned.

I have really sensitive skin with Rosacea so I don’t use TLC or Framboos, but their C serum is the only one my skin tolerates. I haven’t tried the reformulation though because I’ve stopped using it temporarily for A-Passioni. I’ve never used Retin-A or even retinol so I’m taking it really slowly with A-Passioni; so far so good (after a bad first attempt treating my skin like it was a normal person’s). I agree on hoping for some new things. It does get boring. I also use DE exclusively except for my sunscreen.

I was just reading some articles from January talking about DE wanting to sell the company sometime this year. Not really looking forward to what that may mean.

I love the DE Babyfacial but after reading so many great reviews about the Ordinary one I tried it a yr or so ago. It ripped my skin raw. I had never had that happen with the Babyfacial. My skin is used to strong products. After I used it I waited a week & used my Babyfacial & had no issues. I wanted to make sure it was the product & not my skin freaking out. I waited another week & gave the Ordinary another try, same thing my skin was raw. Both times I left it on less than 10 minutes. I gave it away.

I use Babyfacial twice a week with no issues. I think the difference for my skin is that Babyfacial contains soothing anti-irritants as well as other ingredients that are beneficial. It's totally worth the price for me. I love how my skin feels after I use it. I use several DE products. Maybe it's a good thing they don't just churn out back to back products & instead spend the time to make quality products. I don't mind the cost when I know a product includes many great ingredients for my skin in addition to the ones for the main target of the product.

My skin is very sensitive too, including Rosacea. What really made a big and lasting difference were some med spa treatments (IPL and Fraxel) with an experienced dermatologist and sticking exclusively to DE. While both has been expensive - and still is - it has been worth the money. A lot of people, including myself, developed sensitized skin due to experimenting with dozens of different products. There is just too much on the market and we are always on the hunt for the latest remedy.

Watching the skin issues of Youtubers, who test a lot of products and change their routing every too weeks has made this issue very visible to me. I feel sorry for the big Youtube stars such as Wayne, who promotes Drunk Elephant in October ("It changed my skin"), then hypes Dr. Denis Gross just two months later ("Alpha Peel the best exfoliater ever despite the alcohol), and again a month later ruining his skin with Accutane. He is just one example of many.

Just be smart with your choices whatever you put on your skin. I am very happy with my skin now, only using the Hourglass Skin Tint to even out my complexion. In my case, less was more. Though less was certainly not cheaper.

Thanks for the heads-up on DE wanting to sell the company. Oh dear.

Thanks. That's what I thought. I will stick to DE. I appreciate that DE gets some competition from The Ordinary or other brands that feature active ingredients. I still believe that good quality has its price, thus The Ordinary can't offer the same quality as DE.

I agree that it is a good thing that DE doesn't turn out product after product. I still lust for something new to get excited. :)

This - I agree 100% they have a very focused product line. Quality > Quantity. I use DE almost exclusively ( in addition to prescription tretinoin and Hada Labo hyaluronic acid) and my skin has never looked better. I will say that I've been getting more frequent chemical peels and micro derm and DE helps maintain the results I get from those treatments.

Same here. The DE price point is insane though. I only make bulk purchases when I have a 20% discount.
