I'm still obsessing over Sephora's mini fragrance promo so I just looked on eBay to see if people actually list the deluxe samples there. Lo and behold, people are actually bidding over $20 for those tiny bottles!

I got the mini Dolce- it's so cute. I ordered the sephora favorite fragrance set and I guess I made VIB rouge since I got the VIB rouge nail polish.

Red lake/carmine/bismuth oxychloride. A lot of people are allergic to those ingredients and I'm one of them. Becca products are so beautiful and I fell in love when I tried their foundation years ago but then my face began to melt off half an hour later. I hoped they would stop using those ingredients, but nope. Now I see dior is using it more and more. I can't try any of those new powders and blushes that look so nice.
And, I just read where those blushes have another pore clogging ingredient ..what a bummer. They look so beautiful

Ick. I really don't know why brands use what they do. MUFE is a great brand and they don't use the ingredients I mentioned in my previous post. I know people react to things differently, but I don't think it would be so hard to not include those particular ingredients in at least some of your products. You end up making more money when crazy people like me can buy your stuff, you know what I mean? I want Too Faced to explain to me why they felt they needed bismuth oxychloride in that chocolate bar palette. :getyou:

geesh, I didn't know that was in the chocolate palette. It hasn't bothered me but...

I agree with you, they should all know by now what is irritating.

Seems unnecessary in an eyeshadow palette.

I was just going to skip the chocolate palette b/c I own and love Naked 3 and b/c I'm not generally crazy about Too Faced. Then I saw some tutorials that made it seem interesting and thought why not. Got to Sephora and just happened to read the ingredients and there it was. I was so pissed. It was by chance that I read it b/c why in an eyeshadow? I was really just stalling for time b/c I was starting to debate if I actually should get it. Well, my mind was made up for me at that point. :eek:hboy: In other news: Looks like MUFE repackaged their Mist and Fix. I wonder if the formula is different. I think I'll buy a bottle.

Isopropyl Palmitate I just wonder if any of my other cosmetics have this ingredient :(
Well now I'm wondering. Hmm. I wasn't aware of that ingredient and I really don't notice any irritation or pore clogging with anything I use, but I think it's always good to know what you're putting on your face.

I think THE best thing I bought during the Sephora sale was the Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle pads (it was in the kit)

Everyone raved about them, but I was skeptical, but I bought them anyway & I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I also use them on the backs of my hands & the tops of my toes & feet. HG said they would make the skin feel like a baby's bottom & she was right! Super smooth skin.

That really sux.. I would pay more if companies replaced these ingredients with something else. How is the mist and fix? Is it like UD all Nighter, or MAC fix+

I've had samples of the UD spray and never used it. I just sniffed it and said no. I'm funny that way. In my experience Fix+ helps soften my makeup a bit. If I want to be sure I didn't powder too much or keep things from possibly going cakey. Mist and Fix is serious business, though. It sets everything. You don't spray that stuff until you know you've got everything done because it won't move. If I use a non-Nars blush it might fade a little faster, but using the M&F it seals it and makes it stay a lot longer. I want a bottle around now for when I use those other blushes. I used up my other bottle awhile ago and just never bought another.
