I've gone through my Sephora sale purchases and its turns out what I thought I would like/love was completely off base!What was in my basket at the beginning of the sale but I bought and returned:
2 Natasha Denona 5 pan palettes, 4 Pat Mc Grath lipsticks
Not on my radar but I LOVErunk Elephant Vitamin C, Tom Ford Kira lipstick, Huda Desert Dusk Palette, Hourglass Metallic Strobe palette
The Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette - the colors are pretty but they way it's organized but the layout confuses me and I can't put a look together

Was anyone else surprised by what they liked/disliked?
I would say what surprised me, is that my basket completely changed from start to finish. Also, that I did not spend nearly as much money as I thought I was going to.
I was not looking for a new primer, nor concealer, but NARS hit the sweet spot and it was completely unexpected.
What is even more surprising to me, is that I bought only one lipstick from Sephora the entire sale. I had a full list of brands & shades...but it all went sideways with the release of a most ridiculously expensive LE lipstick *wink wink*...I feel no regret

So, Sephora screwed up my DE Babyfacial order and sent it ground shipping instead of 2 day. I should have received it last Saturday now I won't get it until next Saturday.
Yeah!
My 2 Day Flash from the final day of the sale also went ground. I got an apology email and not much else...

I received the apology notification for the partial shipment as well. I tried to reply back to complain about the shipment I did receive and they sent me this long automated response explaining the return policy. It’s not even worth the aggravation. This is why I normally shop from Nordstrom.

I've had it too outside of the sale. You spend time fine tuning your cart only to go to a product page and have Sephora empty the cart. It's like shopping with a small child *smh*

so sephora outsourced their customer service... honestly they cs sucked before and now it's even worse!!!
anyway i made two orders the other day and now both shipped and have the same tracking number. i do not know if they really shipped everything together or it's a mistake. did anyone have this happen ??

Its very possible that your items are packaged together. A cs rep told me that our orders have not actually shipped when we receive the shipping notice. Its not until a few hours or even the next day in some cases before our order is actually shipped.
When we receive the shipping notice what it really means is that our items have been located to package for shipping, so both of your orders could have been located and picked for packaging around the same time which enables them to package them together although they were initially in separate orders.

This happens to me frequently. If you place two online orders within a short time frame they will often ship them together. I actually don't mind it at all. As long as I get both of my delux samples I am happy! Plus less cardboard waste and less boxes for hubby to see

Baby girl is on her way to Grandma's right now, so I'll be outta here but I wanted to wish all of you beautiful & sweet Turkeys a VERY Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving!!!!
The kids suggested I not put out all my glass Christmas decorations because baby has GRABBY HANDS right now
So, I bought her a 5 foot huge very soft stuffed puppy dog she can bounce on & grab lol

Happy Turkey Day Everyone!
OK, not Sephora related but this is pissing me off: Why do I have to choose between 25% off at Mac or free two day shipping? As an "Obsessed" member why can't I get my discount and the free two day? I don't want standard and wait a million years and stalk the mailman for my stuff. And isn't this good just for today and tomorrow? That means I have to go out in that madness tomorrow to get my stuff? I only want three things, but I really want them and it shouldn't have to be such an obstacle. I got some words for Mac.
Second, I ordered the new Rihanna liquid lipstick. I'm curious as to what the formula will be like. I just wish she had another color because red isn't what it used to be for me. I also went ahead and ordered the Caudalie Essence because I hate having a one item order. I really like the way my face has been feeling with it and I pray that the smell isn't too strong. If so, hopefully it'll fade fast. When I woke up this morning I noticed Sunday Riley has a mini Luna oil and I've been dying to try that. After looking briefly for something else to throw into the order I just had to get that on it's own before it sold out on me.
