I totally agree. I prefer the cream lip stains. I think these "luster mattes" are just glosses and they aren't even matte! But, that's what happens when you buy a lippie for the chocolates.I mean mine transferred and smudged like crazy. So I wouldnt worry about it being long lasting! They should just take the matte part out of the name it was a pretty color and opaque, but I'm not into fussy products at the moment. I hope it works out better for you! I like sephoras cream lip stains much better.
Which one? Most Surratt brushes are either blue squirrel or Canadian squirrel. Canadian squirrel hair is very rare and expensive. Not to mention all the brushes are handcrafted in Japan. And you're paying for the Surratt name (for all intents and purposes). Factor all that in, and you can expect to pay more for these brushes. And an overpriced eyeshadow brush!!:haha:
I'm tempted but I just got Givenchy Fuchsia Irresistible yesterday! I have and love 002, so I'll probably buy it anyway...I'm thinking about picking up Bite's Limited Lip Lab Release color tomorrow. Anything else worth checking out? I've got 4 cheek pops coming in tomorrow!

You'd never know it by the variety we are overrun with...Which one? Most Surratt brushes are either blue squirrel or Canadian squirrel. Canadian squirrel hair is very rare and expensive. The smokey eye one!! The brush itself is nice but I personally prefer the suqqu version which is grey squirrel as well or even the WG brushes!! the brush bristles were a tad bit too pliable to be a versatile one is all and it shed quite a bit with the first few washes!!Which one? Grumble, grumble, glorified rats with fluffy tails...
I'm so not in the mood for black but I avoid white for weddings-----it's the brides day. I do feel like wearing color/maybe even floral if it's a nice style. No, no black for the wedding. You have to look stunning in something fuchsia or white babe. Fuchsia!
Ugh 4 weddings would drive me nuts. I only want to eat the cake
Then you get to go hog wild Lauren!!! Have a blast!!!I love a good bright fuchsia! I've been buying a few lately. Plus April is my birth month so part of me is like "neeeeeed".
ohhh what about coral, orange, blue like royal wink, burgundy (for the Fall wedding) or even a fuschia color. Now let's talk how you will do your makeup ;-)I'm so not in the mood for black but I avoid white for weddings-----it's the brides day. I'm really annoyed with the date of one---it's in Oct around our wedding anniversary and we wanted to go away---to where we were married, but that's out of the question now.
All of the weddings are out of state so we're adding on two or three days before and after just to make it a little more fun.
