argh why am i so bad at the moment?! my memory has gone! i thought i did the colour story for this already but i guess not. i shall get it typed up today for you all. it may be this evening though because i have to film videos this afternoon :)

I heard from a Chanel artist that the Vanities quad in this release will be different than the original. Anyone else hear this?

^^ I read the same thing -- I think the texture/color payoff is supposed to be better. Not sure if the colors will be different though??

Thanks for the info!! I think I am going to pass on them - since I already have the 'old' Vanities - I'll wait until I can swatch the 'new' formula to see if it's better. I am a bit tempted by Lagons, though.

I'm bummed out because as soon as I read this last night, I went to the NM site to buy the blue quad, but it's on backorder. I've been waiting for that quad forever, it seems.

I was told by a MUA that this collection (including the quads) won't be in stores until mid August or early September. I don't really think that it is backordered per se. Just that they don't have it in stock to ship yet & this is a way to preorder. If I am wrong, then please someone correct me.

I forgot to add to my last post that I will be getting the vanities quad, but I am on the fence about the lagoons quad. I think that the colors are amazing, but I have blue eyes. I am wondering if it will get much use. Any opinions?

[/quote] Have you tried wearing blue eyeshadow? The blues in Lagons are dusty blues and very beautiful. They remind me a bit of Bateau Ivre from NARS. Still going back and forth about the quad, but I do not wear enough blues unfortunately to get it.

I ended up ordering the quad from the NM site. I will play around with different looks incorporating the blues. The quad was just to pretty to pass up!

sooo beautiful! i shall be buying this baby. i shall be skipping the other highlighter though - the one you can use as shadows as well... i'm simply not rich enough for both! lol!

IN LOVE with Twilight! I love that one the most... I'm sorry there were issues with fallout. It's a GORGEOUS pink... LOVE!

Broke down and got the eyelash curler... like I actually need it. SMH!
