This shade is a beige with a lot of rose in it...not a brown neutral, but a soft, warm pinky beige. Nicer than superstition from the Spring collection, IMHO.

Oh that sounds lovely! How's the texture? I was just reading a blog post that mentioned Culte is one of the dry type RCs. Is Avante Garde dry as well?

Avante Garde is the same texture as my Destinee, from the spring collection and Cashmere, which I bought recently because it is a nice neutral.
Yes, when testing out Culte, it did seem drier...and too plumish for me.
I think Avante Garde is my FAV lipstick right now of all brands !!

Dang. I swatched Culte on my hand and I thought it felt OK. At first, it looked too brown, but seen under better light, I really loved the shade. Hope it won't be too drying.

Same with the Original release of Rouge Coco and the Rouge Allure Velvet. I love that we get lip products early. Though I still wish we got the US blush and quad formula

Same, we get new product launches early sometimes. This year was a little messy as we got the Rose de Ultimate collection later.

I prefer the Rouge d'Armanis to the Chanel RAVs too, Miss QQ. Besides the texture I love that they have no scent.

So I was poking around online looking for info on the new Rouge Allures coming out this fall and found this on La Chanelphile (first breakdown on January Jones' look). Looks like there's a new coral-orange shade coming out named Enjouee. On her it looks pretty close to Exotic. Maybe Enjouee is Exotic's replacement? Then again, re-reading the article it's apparently a matte...but there's already La Ravissante for matte corals. Weird.

Thanks for the link. I enjoyed looking at all of those breakdowns. Don't know what the deal is with the lipstick but I see they used the upcoming Beige polish on several of them. I wonder if that lipstick is really a new RA Velvet?

That's pretty crazy. I hope this RA relaunch is full of awesome, otherwise my RA money may be going to Kanebo Sensai and Tom Ford. Guerlain too, once I finally get around to trying a Rouge G.

How strange! They're all still there on the Canadian site. Of course, you can't order from the Canadian site, so I imagine that they're keeping them there because they're an accurate reflection of what you'll find in stores.
