Mrslid, I used to follow Karen's blog daily and I asked her about lip colours looking different on her. They don't look the same on me. On her, the colours look pinker/redder and she said something about her natural lip colours making them pink.

You look beautiful and like what the other ladies said, your skin looks amazing! I love the curls in your hair and the length is good too, although I like it just a bit longer, but still not over the shoulders. I know what you mean about feeling wild when your hair gets long, I feel the same too. How do you attach pics here? I don't know how to do it with the new Specktra. I can only post links to my pics.

I still like the quint and the blog posted by juujubes said they don't crease for a couple of hours. Hopefully they don't crease for 10-12 hrs!

Ok, my post seems a little out dated because I don't see any new posts, then Specktra will suddenly load a number of posts at the same time! So I have to go back and read the other posts.

LVMH =Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy.. who owns Hermes.. and many other international HE holdings.

Chanel would be a perfect fit for them and would expand their market further from perfumes, leathers, liquors, etc, to cosmetics... thus, Chanel would be a perfect fit for them.. I am hoping for a nasty hostile takeover.. lol.

Chanel Spring stuff: I'm wondering if the quint will be anything like MAC's Peacocky Mega Metal eyeshadows? I'm really looking forward to those (part of the reason I'm passing on this quint). I'll get plenty of shimmer there and I can safely leave the quint behind and wait for more gorgeous mattes.

My off topic ramble: So I have this neighbor. He's probably in his mid 40's, very tall and good looking, takes good care of himself, he's funny and kind hearted, but...I swear every single time I stop to chat with him about something...he farts. I mean really, and not even the silent kind. Just totally out in the open, loud and stinky farts. He always smells like crap! What's up with that? Today when we were talking about random things I didn't hear anything so I assumed I was safe...and then this smell starts to waft in my direction. I thought I stepped in dog crap! Why do some men think that's acceptable public behavior? I understand in your own home, and maybe around others from time to time if you must, but every damn time we talk? I like the guy, but come on! Maybe he's farting AT me like some kind of non-verbal communication? Whatever it is I'm so over it.

Meg that is hilarious! And bizarre??!! Maybe he's one of those people without a sense of smell and has no idea what he's doing LOL I had a friend like that in highschool but she was the opposite..because she couldn't smell she was obsessively worrying about not smelling all the time because she couldn't know. Poor thing.

MissQQ I just click on the little insert image button up above here. Works just fine and uploads right from my computer. It's the box 5 to the left of the smiley selector ;-) Yes if I'm growing my hair I'm definately going longer. I'm just getting annoyed with it right now. It looks like garbage a majority of the time because I always have to wash it at night because of my kids. Today being the weekend ...woopie woo I got to have a shower before I went out LOL instead of having slept on it already. *sigh*

Winter Nights really is lovely you guys. I only used the dark green and taupe in this look but it also has a pink and a peach which is why it really reminded me of the new one. Very similar "theme". I wish I could just swatch stuff at a counter like a normal person! LOL

Megan, maybe your neighbour has poor digestion permanently. Not to make a joke out of him, but it really isn't nice to get a bad smell every time you are talking to him!

Chanel is not such a "big"name in the world of cosmetics -- it is a High End product that's all.

I would love someone like LVMH to take it over.. then I would get free Chanel

And, it would be a perfect fit.

I heard of this gossip about Chanel cosmetics going out of business late last year/early this year. LVMH does have some cosmetics too, right? I think Guerlain and some others, which I can't remember. Whatever happens, I hope I can still purchase my Chanel makeup/skincare like now, with the same prices (no chance of it being lower, right) and I love how fast Chanel new makeup collections launch at my counters. Other brands like Guerlain and Japanese brands are really slow.

The quint is looking mega pearly/shimmery, but I'm kind of loving it!! I wish she would have done swatch comparisons of Murano and Winter Nights.

Thanks for the link! But I can barely distinguish the poudre universelle in these swatches =( Anyway, the quint is back on my list, even if it's too pearly/shiny I am loving the colours so much!!

MY thoughts exactly! It looks so crazy shiny which should make it an automatic no but the colours are so, so pretty I feel I must have it!

Aghhh at least we can see the greens are different in those quads on Sabrina's site but I realy wish she had done swatches :-(

I think since the quad is not LE that I can try to resist. The quint is LE though and the colours look gorgeous and the finish/formula unique so I think it's a must now for me. The blush is perm too so maybe I can delay on it but I think I NEED it LOL. I need to have some money left over for Guerlain spring though. Hopefully it will be a while till it's released. I'm also hoping I can avoid most of the summer collections since they seem to focus mostly on bronzers etc and I'm really fair and steer clear of that stuff. I'm totally lost on what to do about the polishes and lip products though?

So you think you may get the quad?

I am definitely getting the quad! All I use lately are quads (lots of MAC quads too), I get out two or three, or throw a duo in there and come up with all sorts of combinations! I've been using my MAC Notoriety quad a lot, I recently rescued it from my "to sell" bin, and I have no idea now why I had decided to throw it in there! I've decided to get the MAC quad coming out next week as well, along with the grey pp. That'll be my first MAC purchase since the summer (can you believe it?).
