I used to delete most of the pics just to save on page space...maybe there is another trick I need to learn.

Yep, I love your hair longer! My hair is now below my bra strap....geesh, but then at my age, that strap could be pretty low

I'm bored tonight

we did a little shopping & late lunch today. On the way to the mall about 1/2 hour away, 2 idiot kids tried to run us off the road. So after about the third time - I whip out my phone, show it to the idiots & point to it while I call 911/state patrol...they ended up getting off of an exit I'm sure just to avoid getting caught. I don't know if the state troopers or police got them. I gave them the license # but who knows what happened uggh. I need a glass of wine tonight

So the quint IS cream eyeshadow. Apprarantly my SA who told me they were just very creamy "feeling" powder eyeshadows was wrong. I'm really sorry to have misinformed you all. Actually I'm really excited they are cream as I don't have any cream eyeshadows so I was really excited about that when I had originally heard it! I think it looks gorgeous! I think I must have it. Especially the middle and last colours. So lovely!

I'm totally confused about Flamboyante now?? It looks way different on her then on Karen on MUABB?? UGH!

Chanel is a disaster -- they are undergoing major changes in management as well as corporate.. it's a mess. It would be great if they were bought out by some biggie.. lol, like Coty !! The W family has too much say so and little carry thru.

Chanel is not such a "big"name in the world of cosmetics -- it is a High End product that's all.

I would love someone like LVMH to take it over.. then I would get free Chanel

And, it would be a perfect fit.

I just swatched some shades from the quint and I don't know what I would call them cream eyeshadows (at least not any cream shadows I'm familar with). The texture isn't the same as a normal powder eyeshadow - it isn't powdery at all. I can't think of a good way to describe the texture. I'm going to try some of the colors tomorrow to see how they wear and make sure they aren't too shimmery. They do look quite shimmey when I swatched them.

LVMH =Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy.. who owns Hermes.. and many other international HE holdings.

Chanel would be a perfect fit for them and would expand their market further from perfumes, leathers, liquors, etc, to cosmetics... thus, Chanel would be a perfect fit for them.. I am hoping for a nasty hostile takeover.. lol.

Nah, I don't think you misinformed anybody. Here's how they describe it on the Chanel site:

Elegant, I'm sorry you encountered such a**holes today. I just don't understand the mentality of some people, but I believe in karma and it'll come back to them one way or another.
