Thank you Natyk, gorgeous pics. Glad to have both...or to have 518 and have Boy on the way, anyway. Mine is still out for delivery. I don't find 518 sticky on my lips, but agree that's a very individual thing. Sorry it's like that on you, but glad to hear you like the texture of Boy!
Edit: Got it, love it! Love the color, the texture, the lightweight case (so great to carry in your purse!) and especially the scent - it's so much lighter than other Chanel lipsticks. I can hardly wait for the full release now!!!

Hi hi hi everyone! I've been away at meetings all week and just got caught up - yikes!
- Eye cream: I love Shiseido's Benefiance (gold jar) - I'm not so much going for repair as I am moisture, and this one lasts ALL day. I LOVE it! For repair, I have been using the Clarisonic Opal, and I really like the results I get with that, but again, I am less concerned about wrinkles I guess. At my age I've earned them (having celebrated another birthday this past Wednesday). HG, I also love the BB eye balm - I forgot that I used all of mine up (I had gotten it at a CCO) - I didn't want to pay 'full' price for another jar, but I have to say I really do like the way her skincare products make my skin feel......
- Elegant, congrats to your son! I know how proud you are! You will look amazing (I'm still catching up on posts - not sure if the event has happened yet) - and you NEED Coquette!
- Nora, your chandelier sounds lovely!!! Your home is really coming together and I wish you many happy years in it!!!
- G blush is amazing.....I got mine from Sephora but I don't know if they still have it or not.......I must try the Espiegle and PE combo (thanks for the tip Nora!) I also ordered Chanel Fresque blush (oh my, something about CHANEL!!!!
) - will give this a go tomorrow. I ordered it based on a blog post somewhere about a makeup artist describing it as a nice coral with a pink(ish) tone.......
- I have to just say how much I am loving my Inglot shadows - I am amazed at the texture and the pigmentation. Not trying to tease anyone, but I am really a fan. Every time I wear a look with them I get compliments. The blendability is just beyond words. I was supposed to be going back to NYC next week, but it looks like my meetings are being postponed, so I'll just have to wait to check out more another time. Good grief, I have enough new things to try!
- HG, so sorry about the veg, but the new look sounds gorgeous too - you can rock anything.
- My 2 Boys (ha ha) are waiting for me at Nordie's - I pick them up tomorrow
....now IF someone wants one of them, let me know - I don't know that I'll keep them both. The same is true with WW Pink Power - I have 2 and am not sure I'm going to keep them both. My blushes arrived unscathed, thank goodness.
- My Miami Pink CL blush arrived today - I can't wait to use this one.....it really is pretty (Marajode, oh Marajode......
). I need some more cheeks to put all this blush on!

- Must check out the NARS mattes - I'm not typically a matte fan (hate dry lips - the result of accutane treatment in my 20s), but may have to give these a look-see.....
- Marajode, you crack me up! Taupe/Delicat is a winner in my book - as far as the singles, it's hard to say. There are several that are really nice.

Got Boy in the mail today and have been wearing it around all evening. Absolutely love it, so easy to toss in my purse and reapply on the go, no fuss. I have fairly pigmented pink lips, so there's not as much color impact as I was expecting, but Boy enhances the color in a flattering subtle way. I'm excited to grab Liberte and Canotier when they come out in March!!!
I have been loving sheer lipsticks lately, so these RC Shines and the spring Guerlain black-case Rouge Gs have been right up my alley.
Next up: the new Dior Addict sheer lipsticks they started stocking at Sephora!

Got a postcard yesterday that my freestanding MAC has closed. Guess it didn't survive the economy. Hope that doesn't mean anything for the rest of that mall.
Which of the Chanel bases is it that all of you rave about? Is it the Blanc de Chanel or the Base Lumiere?

^^ Thanks Cheryl. Good because I found the ingredients for the Blanc and the witch hazel makes it a no go for my rosacea. Enjoy your second birthday! Hope hubby feels better soon.

I'm interested in Liberte and Canotier too, just wondering if Canotier might come off frosty looking on pigmented lips. Have you seen anything about them other than the descriptions/pics on this chart Karla posted?

Sorry to hear your mac store has closed down, winthrop. If many of the stores in the mall is closing down, it is not a good sign.

I just looked at the spring collection in details and found out Coquette is in my favourite formula, RA. So now i'm very excited to try it on.
The RC shine I'm interested in are Chance, Romance, Boy and Monte-Carlo.

A bright pink like Romance will be very pretty in this formula I think! Monte Carlo is on my list too. Really I can't wait to see them all irl.
I just got back from getting my hair done.....boy am I p*ssed.
I've been letting it grow a bit, and he KNOWS this, and he cut the back completely off!!!! And the color sucks. He's a great colorist, but the dude never listens to me when I tell him I want COOL or NEUTRAL tones, not warm, not gold, not amber.....and what do I come home with? Warm, gold, amber. That's it. He's history. This rant won't be over for awhile.
I even told him that I have an important meeting in NY this week, and want to look my best. Guess that was the kiss of death. Actually, I'm beyond p*ssed. I look like an idiot.

C!.. oh my.. I am so sorry to hear that your hair got messed up.. mine did too as all my reddish tones went down the drain, so I just blacked it out and cut it shorter.. it now looks like a true Vidal Sassoon hair cut.. lol..but I truly hate when things go so badly with hair.. There is little consolation
except the support of friends.
I am glad you like the Shiseido Eye cream -- it is one of my staples too. Man, if I count eyecreams, moisturizers, serums, and all the potions for skin care which are in my dressing room, I could buy another house somewhere.. lol. But hey, I still am avoiding the heavy lines
around my eyes, lips and neck..
I like the Clarins ES in that colour and it does stay on, but I do need a primer.. so, it is working best with NARS primer now.
Glad you got BOY.. I refused to put myself on the torture list so I am not going to get it.. for now.

re: Miami Pink CL blush.. it is awesome.. I also got the Coral blush as I find that with the darkest hair I have ever had in my life, my skin looks less warm and actually looks cooler.. so, I am aiming more at some of the Coral blushes.
C! If you don't want the other BOY.. (I just read your post) I would take it from you for my sister.. she needs something to boost her morale now.. just let me know.

oh, this is not from the Spring Collex.. but it is definitely worth a try if you guys have not tried it yet.. it is the Imprevu JC.. I had it and did not wear it once.. I did the other day when my hair was reddish, and now today with the black hair and it works beautifully.. takes the blues away!

I am so happy that everyone is lovin Boy - I didn't get mine yet. But I did get the Asia ls - Joyeuse today form my order & OHMYGOSH is it EVER such a GORGEOUS gorgeous pink ls on! I ordered another one right away. I posted pics/swatches in the chanel lipstick discussion. It is the PERFECT pink - at least for me. A light-med. straight up soft delicate pink! I am in love with it.
I also got my Clarins Pink Lilac - its more plum lilac pink on my more pigmented lips.
Armani 518 & black el are STILL out for sat. delivery???? They are always here by 9am????
Briefly - & I don't want to bum the thread out but we are all so close. My mom calls me at 5 -5:30 & tells me that my dad is gone! He had just been transferred to the hospital for pneumonia a few days earlier. I went into shock, grief, hubby & I are crying totally a wreck, we call our son & tell him. A half hour later she calls me back & says no he didn't pass - he's still alive!!!! OMG!
He was dismissed from the hospital that day & transferred to another nursing home - but when my mom called his room at the hospital the nurse said "he is gone" - she thought that meant that he had died! I've had next to no sleep. Holy Cow what an emotional roller coaster.
