damn techissuessssssssssss

ok ladies.. don't know if this will go thru.. but I have not heard anything today.. and most likely will not as I know men's mentality.. he is expecting me to write or something... which I won't.

Elegant, I was wearing Rouge Fatale as a stain.. also, my mu for travel is always the same.. BB Granite liner, strobe cream over LAMer and a dusting of Chanel powder, Narcisse Blush, and PIP. I know I will love Joyeuse -- not a question in my mind.

so, yes, the roses were the colour of Rouge Fatale.

no smiles.. grrr

C!. too bad you have to wait so long.

That's what they say, but usually they arrive much faster unless the mail has issues. mine came quite fast - I think like 7-9 days which in our makeup land - even thats a long time :)

Oh my, I thought Mac forums were a danger to my wallet, but this thread is enablers galore! :)
I am still very new to Chanel, but after reading some on here, I want so much! :)

By the way, I also love Argentinian wines. I've had reaaaaaally good white one a few years ago, when they served at the the theater I've gone to. It tasted amazing: not too sweet, not to dry, but yummy! Stupidly enough I didn't write the name of the wine down

& ooh, I love wine! I am a light-weight drinker though. I can only do 3/4 of a glass.

Thank you, Bonitinha!

I was afraid of that :) But this thread looked like too much fun to me, so I just can't stay away.
Besides, if you're loving each and every one of those products, then it's money well spent!

I'm going to try to stay strong and limit myself to buying 1-2 products a month max at London airport duty free. This way I can slowly build my Chanel collection without having to live on bread and water for the rest of the month

I also fill my lips in before using Mythic, otherwise it can look a little pale on me.

Ladies, that great deal I got the other day on Chance... well, I didn't realize it until I took the cellophane off the box that I had the wrong fragrance. The sample I've been using is for Eau Tendre, not the regular Chance. I realized when I took the bottle out and the fragrance wasn't pink! Well... I can't return it now. I did use it this morning, and at first didn't like it on me, but an hour later it actually did smell quite nice. So not an entire loss. Besides, Eau Tendre doesn't last on me at all, but when I picked up the bottle on Monday, I picked up the EDP and figured it would last longer. So I may pick up Eau Tendre with my next points haul and maybe layer the two? Chance is a lot stronger, so not sure. Not even sure if Eau Tendre is available in EDP.
Chanel Chance (the original) is one of my favorites! Eau Tendre and Eau Fraiche both smell wonderful, but I still love the original. I get tons of compliments when I'm wearing it!

^^ I am down with both of you ladies! All three of the Chance versions are sooo good. Chance Eau Fraiche is my new favorite perfume. And this is coming from someone who is really picky and not super into fragrance (at least not compared to makeup). I liked Eau Tendre and the original as well, but I just kept going back to Eau Fraiche. It's love.

^^ Me three! I finished up a 100ml bottle of Eau Fraiche and I have a 100ml tube of shimmering body lotion still. Probably need a new bottle of the perfume soon to complement the lotion!

For some reason all of the Chance versions smell awful on me!

I get the "OMG I have to wash this off of me" reaction almost right away every time I try one of them. Such a bummer, it smells so yummy on others!

All of this is reminding me that I need a new Spring and Summer scent! I'm thinking about taking my nose on a trip to Sephora pretty soon to find something delicious. I need to sniff Escada Marine Grove and Taj Sunset, MJ Daisy Eau So Fresh, and that new version of Be Delicious for starters (juiced or something? lol)...any others you all love?

I'm also looking for a new toner...something soothing, non-drying, that doesn't smell like a dentist's office. I LOVE me a good toner, they feel SO awesome. Maybe Ole Henriksen, Clarins, or that Shiseido Benefiance Enriched version? I hear good things about all of those...we'll see!

I need to check out LORAC's Oil Free Neutralizer too. I hear it's supposed to be great as a multi-tasking product to cover up redness, even out skintone and all of that good stuff.

Also, yes!!!!!! I can't wait for the new bag to arrive! I love love love the smell of new leather!

I don't know why, but I can't wear any of the Chanel fragrances - they turn rancid on me - ugh! I am so picky about fragrance, too, and there are so few I can wear. I always get compliments when I wear Clinique Aromatics.....and I can also wear Hermes 24 Faubourg. Some of the Jo Malone fragrances are quite pretty, and are good for spring/summer. I have a couple of discontinued fragrances that I hoard and stalk on the internet. In general, fragrances don't like me. Boo.

I have Chance Eau Fraiche that I've got for my birthday, but I hardly ever reach for it. It's not that I don't like the smell, the problem is more that I don't smell anything, haha! It's one of those fragrances I can't really smell soon after I've put some on. I'm sure others can smell it, but I want to to indulge too sometimes :) Hence me going for more heavy artillery, such as YSL Elle Intense :)

Megan - I love the smell of new leather too. Enjoy your new bags! I want to sniff Escada Taj Sunset too when it arrives. Yes there is going to be a Be Delicious Juiced.

Cheryl - maybe it is the aldehydes or something? Chanel perfumes always have these things. I don't know much about perfumes lol. Only Chance turns rancid on me among her fragrances. Which Jo Malone do you like? I feel like trying them.

Hi, I added some swatches of Fauve eyeshadow from Soulful eyes to the swatch thread, although I am not sure if anyone outside Europe will be getting it :dunno: Compared it to Taupe Grisé (darker), Smudged Violet from MAC (greyer) and Hypnotizing (because it was in all my Chanel swatches, is lighter). The texture is a bit more "lustery" when swatching it by hand, but on the skin it's perfect and even and once you get a bit under the "skin" of the eyeshadow it feels smoother.
