Definitely check out his Sunlight cream highlighter (I think it's really called All Over Seduction) - love it. I'm not a fan of his lipsticks because of the heavy fig scent. Everything of his has that scent but it's more tolerable in some things than others for me, I guess.

OMGosh what a nightmare we had at Macys yesterday!

First of all, we decided to drive a little farther so I could pick up Coquette ls. Well I ask the vacant chanel lady at the counter - first she doesn't know what I'm talking about, then goes to look for it - doesn't even know where to look for it (she's at this counter ALL the time) then she can't remember what the color was. Wait for it - I tell her I'm in a hurry (dh is looking for a wallet ) so I go look in the shoe dept., after a bit she comes to find me in the shoe dept. - she's holding a tube with a clear plastic cap.??? Its the last one left. OK - so? She said she was showing it to a lady - how the push cap works & the lid flies off - that's why it has the clear cap.

I am not amused at this point. So I call Dillards - they are sold out. So I go back to the C counter & ask her if I can buy it - she stares into space for a bit then says yes, well no, well I can, but my manager isn't here. Then she goes to grab a bag & starts rummaging through it to look for a cap and a color #??? then says wait, its not even Coquette

She's too old to be on this ---->

but man she must be on somethin.

Oh wait - it gets better. I go find dh in the mens dept. he goes to check out to buy his wallet, I try to give the lady my points to use on the wallet - she starts yelling at me & tells me she has to ring the whole thing out before I can get the points - I TRY to explain to her that cannot work as the points are $$$ that come off a purchase. She becomes angry unglued tells me that I should just go away & get out of the store

I walk away to go get a manager - hubs is still trying to talk to the crazy lady. While I'm waiting on the manager - here comes dh with the crazy employee following him & she starts yelling at me again!!! HOLY COW. Is this not completely insane. The manager comes over & starts apologizing all over the place & she is pretty ticked at this employee & says she is going to deal with her.

We drove home in a crazy all the sudden ice storm - then did this >

ms. qqq... I am so down for the whitening products at any cost.. I have four.. I COUNTED.. four.. areas of discolouration on my face after the week in the sun.. and I always wear sunblock.. grrr. This is aggravating.

I am glad you liked the Narcisse/Imprevu combo.. it does look lovely -- it would also work with PE blush.

Elegant, I too have Shiseido's products, and no, they don't work on me.. I am looking for an MJ type whitener

and haven't found it yet.

on the colour front, I just got some ls from EL.. the Wild Violet and Wild Fire.. and they are yummmmmy... for a big pop of sheer but important colour on the lips..

back to mu.. I do like the Lancome whitener tho.. seems to pack more bleach.. lol... don't know if DS brands will work on my mule hide.. I have one week to travel and don't want to be packing on concealer on the discoloured areas.. argh.

I posted on the MAC 'Early Buzz' thread that I saw the promo pics for 2 collections coming out in May - Fashion Flower (aka wn Daisy?) and Flighty - one of these will have a bunch of new shadows (not sure if this is the 'Big Bounce' collex we've been hearing about

)......I can't wait!! Why am I such a sucker for shadows???

Oh, you know what makeup product has been just flying out the door - Clinique lip balm chubby sticks!!! Everywhere I went (even my little nowhere crappy small mall) they are completely sold out & they all told me that they have sold out of 3-4 shipments. WOW I tested all of the colors & they were really pretty, but sheer & not unique. I may get a couple, we'll see.

I'm always looking for things that will keep my skin white and bright. RoC has one that is apparently good, made with Kojic Acid, which does have some science behind it, but I haven't tried it. I did try a couple of creams with hydroquinone (just like MJ!), but I didn't notice a huge difference. The problem with any of them is that they tend to make you more sensitive to the sun, so you have to be even more careful after you've used them...

My skin is fine in the winter, but during the summer I'm noticing more and more discoloured spots, despite the fact that I wear sunblock every day (including winter). When I was young, people referred to them as freckles... Now, they're "discolourations" or "age spots".

For the moment, I'm sticking to a daily skin treatment with vitamin C, which evens things out a bit. Personally, I'm waiting for parasols to come back in fashion.

katred, THE best inqredient, which really works is Hydroquinone.. like MJs.. lol, but it can be very drying.. that's why some companies limit their amount of Hydroquinone vol in their products.. other's just include it in the products in very low vols or find all sorts of fruit acids (which don't really work).
