Oh Ladies -- I adore all of the chatter!! Sounds like you all are finding all kinds of wonderful new things. We truly all do need a good therapist LOL!!

Well, let's just say I need to go shopping without all of my girlies with me. I spent so much time in Claire's with them (you know, they love to look at the little earrings and cheapo lipglosses, etc). They were just having too much fun, so I just let them shop -- one day I will miss hanging out in Claires with my girls when they are all grown up (sob).
I was able to hit MAC for my niece's makeover. I am totally copying her makeup look. They did Tan pigment on the lid (of course, they were sold out of it), Wedge in the crease, Bronze in outer V and Blanc Type for brow h/l. They did a winged liner and she looked so gorgeous. She used Margin blush with Belightful hl powder and Marquise D lippie with Love Nectar on top. Sooo pretty and I have quite a few of those already.

I did manage to score myself a few cute new tops for Spring (if it will ever get here??).

I totally get claustrophobic in Claires LOL My girls just think it is the coolest -- so funny. So cute to watch them in there

I've noticed that a lot of celebs are wearing Chanel on the red carpet when I see their makeup breakdowns. I am fascinated by what they wear.

Cheryl -- let us know how your no-buy goes (wink wink!!) I was just going through my bins the other day and telling my hubs that I have to figure out a way to use some of my stuff up!

Marajode -- ahhh, Nutella . . . I'm sorry, the whole cake thing got me distracted! lol Glad you got your cake.

HG -- I love that you "slum around" for makeup

I looked in my stash, and lo and behold, I found a bunch of Revlon super lustrous glosses that I bought and forgot about. They are really nice -- shiny but not sticky. I've heard good things about the Color Burst ones -- heaven knows I'll probably grab some next time I'm at Target!

Bonitinha.. yea.. I do love to go to all the usuall places to find products.. I usually do it for work because these are lines that are being developed independently and sometimes with more freedom from the constraints of the major corp world.. so I get WnW stuff.. Revlon is major corporate and was a huge buy of the stock when it was like 1.50.. lol. That was a good buy !

I just picked up some ARm blush.. shade 10.. it is gorgeous sheerness and colour.. oh man.

C.. ! .. I have a Black MUAnon card too.. lol. I would need meds, therapy and a hand holding support group to give up mu

I really wish all of you women lived in my town, and we could get together weekly for like wine and stuff (oh, squirrel, but I saw a new wine tasting bar yesterday, about 3 miles from me.. oh happy day).
You guys are so fun and have such a sense of humor like I do, and so much in common with me....

BTW, I swatched most of the new BB lip colors last night - Bikini Pink is really light, IMO like Angel, so if you like that, you'll probably love this. My top pics are Guava (they didn't have Sweet Nectar), Mod Pink, Pink Heather (or Heather Pink, whichever it is) and Old Hollywood. I also liked Rose Blossom. There was a really yellow coral called something Coral, which was odd-looking in the tube, but would look great on the right skin tone. There were a couple they didn't have besides SN.......I'm definitely planning to get about 3 of them.

Katred -- quirks, I like that! Then makeup is definitely a quirk of mine!!

Marajode -- I know, none of my friends get into makeup as much as I do. Le sigh . . . they probably wonder why I'm so "done up" all of the time!

Cheryl -- glad you liked the BB colors! Can't wait to go test a few at the counters. Although I am in need of another lipstick holder . . .

I gave up on my gfs years ago.... they love "natural" mu.. which is cool, but sadly there is no such animal

you either wear mu or you don't. To try to get it as natural as possible is everyone's goal but if you are using colour, unless you're a parrot or a peacock, you will find there are no colours in the human anatomy (unless you have hematomas and or burn marks!)

HG, Armani's blush #10 was my first Armani purchase....and I have a few of his lipsticks too, which I love. They don't always get 'enough' love, but they're quite nice.

Pearl Glow is a shimmery beige highlighter that is suppose to give the face a glowy effect. I tried it on but it didn't show up so I pass (for the time being). Perhaps it was because I already had a shimmery highlighter on. The three shades in the quad looks very similar to what we see in all the recent quads (Tentation Cuivee), the only shade I don't have is the bright shimmery pink shade. The peach lipstick, Desinvolte, is a true peach, and is lighter than Peregrina. There are two glosses, a shimmery pink with blue and pink glitters, and another is clear with pink glitters.

Miss QQ, did you end up getting Rose tourbillon? How is the texture? I know it's baked but is it hard & difficult to work with like Tea Rose or nice like Pink explosion?

C.. I love that Armani blush for summer.. it works well with bronzers -- my other summer staple is Antigua BB.. with #1 Bronzer.

^^ Winthrop, I'm not Miss QQ but I can answer that--Rose Tourbillon is not as hard as Tea Rose, it's more comparable to Pink Explosion. Tea Rose was too sheer but Rose Tourbillon is very pigmented (even more pigmented than PE, I'd say). Just posted a comprehensive review of it here, hope it helps!

I want to try the whitening stuff too because I noticed more dark spots - scary! But they're pricey so it's not happening yet. I have been thinking about Rose Envolee but I feel like I've seen 3 of the shades before and will only be buying it for the shimmery rose pink colour. The highlighter is calling my name every time I pass by the counter.

I'm feeling better about my RT purchase - thanks again switchblade! Very helpful review! I am still so wishing I had got Turbulent - how in the world did I miss THAT? Before I became such a Chanel freak, I almost always checked out the new collections, and a bright pink blush would have definitely caught my eye.....I'm sure, however, that I will live without it.
