In the wee hours this morning I ordered the highlighter, Harmonie du soir quad, & the Prelude quad. Hope I love the goodies I'm gifting myself.

I unwrapped my Poudree Signee highlighter, Lilium and Raffinement quads this morning. I was finally able to swatch them. So beautiful!
The highlighter is so pretty on the skin. I was in a poorly lit room when I first swatched it and only saw the shimmer. As soon as I moved to a window and saw it in sunlight, I saw how truly gorgeous it is on the skin. I tried several brushes to see which one works best. Did anyone use the sponge applicator that comes with it?
I'm so happy with Raffinement and Lilium. Even though Raffinement is described as "rich mauve, pearly pink beige, shimmering lilac, deep eggplant," it looked like various shades of brown in the pan and in all of the swatches I've seen. I'm glad to see that it does have purple tones in it after all. Lilium is just love. I'm really looking forward to getting Prelude.

Thanks Monsy! I don't have Prelude anymore, but I think Prelude was more gray compared to the plum tones in Rafinement.

I absolutely love Prelude. If you love cool neutrals, it is a fabulous quad. I just got Raffinement last night -- Im excited to try it out tomorrow!

Lilium is another one I want to try. I haven't seen it in person either but the colors look like their right up my alley. I thought I would order Prelude first and then go from there.

I saw Frivole, the polish, the lipsticks and Merveille gloss in person today. The counter had something else out for Attirance. I didn't buy anything, but I most certainly will later. I do need Frivole in my life. I also really like Captivante and L’Eclatante lipsticks. I don't need the other two polishes, but want them anyway. Merveille is a very pretty gloss, but I'm not sure if I want it.

Oh wow. I must check it out. I've been so swamped I haven't made it over to the mall with Nordies.
The 2 Chanel counters at the mall closest to me are rather bla. And the sa's are also rather bla andappear to be indifferent when asking about colors. If I ask them questions half the time they don't know what product I'm talking about. Some of them I've seen there forever and you would think they would surely know some products by name, at least the color range.

I went to the Chanel counter and ended up getting most things. I got:
I skipped the eyeliners but I was tempted by them.

- Fracas polish - I think the color is just okay but I had a feeling I would regret passing it up.
- Captivante lipstick
- Attirance??? lipgloss

I sent an email to Chanel asking about the gifts and got a very generic response about registering for the Chanel website. I then called Customer Service. The representative I spoke to was very kind and polite, but she unfortunately had no idea what I was talking about.
