Also, when I opened the outer box I thought, Wow, this is what Chanel sent out... for all of two seconds because I quickly realized the inner box was upside down lol

Only swatched it on my arm so far.

The Baume Essentiel catches the light so beautifully. In certain light the shade looks a bit like MAC's Soft Frost but in others it just looks like a natural sheen.

The Baume Essential reminds me of the Ciate Dewy Stix. This past summer, Sephora had a favorites glow kit that included the dewy stix. It gives a nice highlight to the cheek. If you don’t want to spend the $$$ on Chanel check out Ciate.
