I love Chanel makeup bags. I have a few as gwp mainly in 2008 and 2009. However, I asked the SAs why last year there wasn't such bags anymore and they said their aren't making/giving them out anymore unless it comes with a skincare kit and is to be purchased together. Very sad. The patent bag from the Christmas kits is beautiful! Karla has info on the NM promotion which consists of a patent bag from the pic. It looks similar the Christmas one.

Thanks greatscott and congrats on grad school -- that's wonderfil! Looking forward to your comparisons of MR with other shades. What did you think of the quad if you saw it?

Thanks so much for the well wishes!
It's been over a year of training, my only treat from testing and such was Chanel!
Winthrop- I loved the quad, the green's are gorgeous! I wish the SA would let me take a pic, but they are pretty strict. I'll need to take a pic of MR tomorrow in natural light since I left work after sundown tonight.
Alums- I love the bronzer, finally, was able to take some pics tonight.
My friend Ms. V helped me with the swatches, her arm is on top. She is NW20ish and I am NW45ish for reference. From left to right are the Bronze Corail stripes vertically with the coral at the bottom on the far right. This was taken with no-flash under a bright light.

Thank you so much for the swatches greatscott! It is indeed beautiful and I am lemming the quad just because I am reading so much about it right now! I am not very green-makeup-friend, don't know why ... maybe Chanel's quad could be a good way back into good relationships with that colour =D

The bronzer is so lovely! I'm also liking the quad and Pink Peony Glossimer
I like the Mimosa NP in the bottle, but I have a feeling it will look awful on me.

I know what you mean, CheshireSmile - I love the color of Mimosa but I don't think it would suit my skin tone at all!
I'm definitely getting the bronzer - thanks greatscott! Those swatches are great - I too am glad they're not scary bright! And I've caved on the quad - I'm going to get it and the Pink Peony glossimer.......
And then I have to call a halt - my other dog might need surgery to repair a torn ligament in her knee.....to the tune of about $3000.......
. I'm so hoping it mends on its own.......what is it with me and my dogs lately?

The summer quad is on NM already, just in the dropdown list, and it shows as backordered with no anticipated date...but still, I think that says it won't be long now! I didn't see anything else on there as of last night.

Cheryl -- oh no -- that is an expensive surgery for your dog! Hopefully he heals on his own and you can spend that money on makeup 
April is going to be an expensive month for me. I definitely want the bronzer and glossimer -- I can't wait to hear what you ladies think of the quad

Thank you everyone - I'm really praying that she doesn't need the surgery - that is just insane. She doesn't complain of it at all - she's very rambunctious and 'tough' according to the vet - she said she's likely in pain with it. You'd never know except for her limp. I'm trying to keep her quiet (not easy, she's a Lab) so that she doesn't put undue stress on it. The good news is the vet that we have is an orthopedic surgeon (she took care of Hercules when we were going through his ordeal) and I love her and trust her - she will give us the straight story.
Anyway, on the topic of Summer stuff - even though it's RCS stuff - I ordered Aventure and Monte Carlo today, and am hoping to pick up Rebelle as well tomorrow night. I did also get the black patent bag, so I'm anxious to see it!
I'm definitely getting the quad......and the bronzer......and the glossimer.....and I think that's it for this collection.
