I will probably get one lipstick and one gloss (I'm picky...I really hate bold colors on me, so anything too bright or bold is a no go). Maybe a blush (probably). A paint pot (or 2). If the dolls looks shitty I won't get one (I may not get one anyways, what am I supposed to do with a doll?) But I'll probably get a bag.

See, this collection is really cute but I'm not going to go crazy with stuff that i know I won't use. Those quads suck, I'm sorry to say it. The colors absolutely suck IMO. At least from the pictures...

I don't think I'd use either quad to be honest. Pink doesn't look too great on me. So out goes that quad. The other quad... just have weird colors that don't appeal to me. Just because the packaging is nice, doesn't mean the colors have to suffer. They can't just think that the product will sell just because of the packaging alone. I probably will end up getting a lipstick and lipgloss at most.

Personally, i think i will get every item in the collection just for the cute value and also for the possible collectability.

Those blushes are still calling my name, I love bright colors because they show up on WOC. Gosh I hope that they aren't too ashy. Someone mentioned that they look like a brighter version of the Raquel blushes, I agree. I loved Goddess so hardcore.

I also like that coral paint pot. But like others were saying I believe that I'll pass on the quads.

i wonder how the bright pink blush compares to Dollymix.. i think im getting that coral blush for sure! coral colors look good on me =)

So while going to check out n collection i got a clue that the mua was wearing the fafi eyes quad. She was gushing about how much im gonna love it!

She had on a gorgeous irridescent and slightly bright green eyeshadow with a brownish/purple duochrome in the crease. HOT HOT HOT

She also mentioned the tote thats coming out (not missing out on that
one!)

And ladies, i am happy to report that it looks like they will be doing presales on this collection!

the orangy blush is like goddess blush and desirous blush had a baby!! so pretty! the pink is actually a nice color, def. darker than pink swoon. Sugar trance lipglass is amazing! remember bait lipglass from lure? well its like that but its more wearable, and its not as frosty pink as bait....i cant stop thinkin about sugar trance!!! the quads are fantastic!!! colors feed off of each other, coulda sworn one color looked exactly like peppier shadow from technacolor.

LOL! No prices and no release date, I went to bendels and she did mention that they would call me around the 20th with more details.

Yay for presales and not having to worry about selling out of items. They learned from barbie i bet! Im soooo excited and i just cant hide it!

I have an appointment for the Fafi event on Friday the 22nd and usually the collection comes out the week before the event. So I'm thinking the release date is the 14th, maybe?

I didn't know you could make appointments for the events...I thought you had to be invited? I got invites to Smoke Signals and Stylistics but I didn't go, so I don't really know how it works. If you can make an appointment...well...I want to!!

I was at our stand alone today and talking with the ma's about the Fafi collection and only one of the three had seen pics. But they were super excited about it and saying how they would probably get two of everything, one to use and one for collectable sake. But they didn't mention an event and they have never done a pre-sale. I do think though in a week or so I will check back with them and ask, maybe they will know more then. I would be so sad of not being able to get the items I want.

umm make an appointment? for an event? How do you do this? What does this even mean? Is it in the store?

Also, presales? Huh? Someone needs to explain this to me before I go nuts lol. I work on weds. and thurs. so if the collection is released on the 13 that will suck. My birthday is the 15th...so that whole week is going to be like heaven lol

With presales, u essentially pick out what you want and give em ur info. When the products come in they pull em aside for you and charge ur card. This way you dont miss out if you cant get there first thing.

Events are held at f/s stores with big collections. They would have release parties with hors d' oeuvres and such. Counters have events too, with free makeovers and such.

Call the places where u usually shop to find out more

Wow! lol. Now with presales, if you get there and try on the colors you ordered, can you take some off or exchange them (if available)?

I dont think presales would be THAT neccessary if you at MAC the day the collection comes out. And arent the items online BEFORE the stores get them. Im most likely going to get one of everything haha..so ill probably just buy it all online even though there are 3 mac locations in a 10 mile radius.
