They actually do have a makeup week in NYC it is usually handled by the Powder Group and if I can recall correctly it is usually in May..

bring on the new colorful Fafi collection, i was not at all impressed with the N Collection. maybe because i dont like neutrals that much.

The problem I have is not being able to get to MAC. Theres one about 30 minutes away, which is great, but I don't drive. So I have to depend on my boyfriend to take me, and now we're both working 2 jobs. So its very difficult to get there and with all these collections coming out, I will be heartbroken if I don't get there in time.

I won't be able to get to MAC until next sunday!

I am seriously considering going into work late on February 13th. I'm not joking.

I actually don't feel this collection. Excellent, since I'll only be working part time this semester and will therefore be very poor and not able to buy lots of makeup.

This is going to be a sickkk collection..I've already had numerous dreams,Saving up forr sureee,want like 2x of everything..why oh why must MAC tempt us so much??!!

Haha, that is how it is with me 90% of the time. We have one car, and both my parents work during the day, but when I was working, I started before they got home, and my shift ended at nine, so the mall with my counter would be closed by then! So my new theory is to just order online and go to the counter when I can to play with the collection.


This may have been mentioned before, but does Fun N Sexy remind you a bit of Rocking Chick? I was looking at the promo pic and they looked very similar to me.

Are u serious? use the bus...
I do drive and have a car but the nearest mac (reg. mac or pro) are more than 3 HRS away!!!!

I spoke with a MA at my local pro store today and she said that they're having a Fafi event on 2/10. She just wasn't sure if they were going to allow customers to reserve product or purchase.

When I picked up my N haul last Friday, my MA said they were having an exclusive event for Fafi on 2/10 where you *can* either reserve or purchase products from the collection - she wasn't sure which, but definitely one or the other.

i was at my local mac store today and they had some of the Fafi collection in the backroom, so they let me look at it. all i can say is WOW. im not really feeling the first eyeshadow quad, the one with the vanilla, hey, pink venus and howzat. it didnt impress me much, but i am loving the second fafi eyeshadow quad. i also go to see two of the paint pot colors, simply gorgeous. one of them reminded me of that gold looking metal-x. the blushes were nice and i saw one of the irridescent pressed beauty powders, very sparkly. nice lipglosses from what i saw. and i cant wait till the 13th.

I hope so! Though MAC tends to release the collection online about two days before it is released at stores and counters.

i don't know. since it is the valentine's collection (and the anniversary to barbie), it may be online on the 11th, but not for purchase til the 13th. i think that is what they did for barbie.

I JUST saw/heard about this today and I'm psyched about it!! I know it comes out in February but I was wondering if anyone knows where they're releasing it? I live in Cali and I'll cry if this is is some kind of Exclusive (Asian, European, etc.) for somewhere that I DON'T live!!
