If i remember correctly, barbie went up on midnight of the release date. ladies and gents, looks like we will all be waiting with baited breath for the clock to strike 12!

I was thinking the dolls were going to be a lot too, but I'm so excited to see that they're gonna be $9, that means I could get all 3!!!

So anyone in SoCal gonna go to the preview party on the 10th @ South Coast plaza? SIL and I are going to the one at 5:00, I can't wait!!! I wanna see everything irl already!

Everybody is different. I know some people love the special LE packaging, but I personally hate it. I'd rather have the plain 'ol, sleek-looking black any day. I've never, not once, liked the special packaging.

Then, this afternoon, I was at the MAC counter talking to the MA, and she asked, "Do you want a sneak peek at Fafi?" I asked her if she was talking about the book or the actual products, and she replied, "Here," and opened up a drawer with all the of Fafi items, except the dolls.

Oh my goodness, it was beautiful! I thought for sure I was going to hate Fafi and not buy any of it (except for maybe the paint pots) because of the special packaging, but it does not look like I had thought it would at all. It is very sleek, shiny, and heavy feeling. It does not seem cheap or kiddie-looking at all.

I just wanted to share my impression because I know there are others that are also turned off by special packaging. This time I think it's different, and the packaging won't deter anyone once they see it in person.

Is it possible the paint pots will be perm once they are out on February???

1.) Are the dolls going to be available online ONLY or will they be available at counters, too?

2.) What is the official U.S. release date? I've heard it is going to be February 13th, correct??

$36, same price as usual. our book shows only girl friendly will be perm.

the dolls will be at stores, online, and at select nordstrom/bendel.

feb. 13 is the release date.

Thanks for the pics! I am kinda turned off by the lipsticks.. they seem to have very chunky glitter, they don't seem smooth at all. Not So Innocent reminds me of a conealer stick (you know, the cheap kind) I do like the look of Utterly Frivolous.

Does someone have a better guess about the paintpots in the pic?
I thought maybe:
Girl Friendly??, Cash Flow, Rollickin', Perky, Layin' Low.
The left one looks quite simular to Artifact...

Girls will be Girls looks gorgeous, but I have a few simular shade of non-MAC nailpolish like that, it's beautiful though, I may not be able to resist

How do the names of the lipstick in the photo match with the line up - from front row left to right - back row left to right???

At first I was determined to get both of the quads, but after seeing the pictures of the paint pots and finding out that Girl Friendly will be perm, I rrreeeaaallllyyy am lemming Cash Flow, Rollickin', Nice Vice, and Perky. I am in desperate need of colored bases!! LOL
