This feels like a silly question, but how do the shirts fit? Are they the shorter, tighter, more girly fit, or are they the longer, looser, "unisex" fit? I only ask because I'm polar opposites depending on which one it is.
I got really excited too when I saw that some stuff didn't have the LE triangle beside it. I was happy that I wouldn't have to buy everything at once! I guess that WAS a little naive, though.

I didn't read Fafi's message as being disrespectful towards the UAE. I take it as her being displeased with the way the majorly immigrant construction workforce lives as a result of a handful of unscrupulous developers. IMO, that isn't a commentary on the Emiris as a whole, at all.

^IMO, the shirts rull small.
Last years Barbie shirt was small. I ordered a L, thank god and it was snug. Mind you, Im big breasted 38dd and have a small frame. I get mostly S/M in my tops, but for this shirt I ended up with a L that fit the way I wanted it to.
I dont like the tops from this collection at all. Whats up with the striped sleeves? Reminds me of Dr.Suess or something..very chidlish IMO. I also never really liked the images they chose..its so blah and boring..they could have chosen one cute image, instead of three...or were they trying to "be politically correct" showing 3 characters of different colors...

I agree, I've had a few friends who were raised in Dubai and despite liking it there and enjoying the people there, they severely disliked the developers actions. It's nothing against the country, just the corporations that are allowed to operate there.

i have the same size as my barbie shirt. this one is a little looser (not as fitted, but still fitted), just a hair longer (not by much by the time you wash it), and is long-sleeved. and the sleeves are a little different. the striped sleeves go all the way up to the shoulder seam. and the white short-sleeve goes over it, making the sleeves double layered.

How is going to Dubai on a promotional visit for a not particularly cheap brand of makeup going to allow her to "reach out" to the people? The promotional tour would largely be to appeal towards foreigners living in Dubai and the wealthier people living there - there wouldn't be much time for the poor. If you read her comments, she said she'd be more than willing to go on her own terms, but not on a promotional tour for a product line - which I totally understand.

Uh-uh, that's NYC!
Anyway, I understand she had to design 3 new dolls specifically for MAC, but these are the worst ones in my opinon, it almost looks like she didn't design them. I know she had to tone down the sexiness to appeal to a broader audience, but those are not her best work.
I'm getting 2 glosses and a small bag, and 1 of the figures for a friend. Bring on Heatherette!

I got a chance to see, test and buy Fafi at the NYC pro last week and I fell deeply in love with the lip products. Very bright with buildable opacity. The lipsticks and lipglasses play off of each other realllly nicely. Good job, MAC!
I'll post pics soon.

I don't know if this has been news for a while or not...I did a live chat today and was told that Fafi was going to be available online on February 11th...has anyone else heard this?

^Collections are usually available online 2 days in advance so yes, we've heard.
