Hi, sorry
ssad.gif
, the reason I don't ship to Germany is because of the strict customs regulations. Canada Post has a warning regarding shipping cosmetics to Germany as for some reason cosmetics are on the restricted commodities listing for Germany!

I will ship brushes to Germany as I label them just as brushes (not cosmetic brushes) and have shipped them before with no issues.

Aww that is weird.

I never had problems with cosmetics beeing shipped to me. Even when I had to open the envelope right in front of someone at the customs because the label for the customs wasn't clear enough they never said anything or wanted to send it back.
The only thing they do is ask for the tax/fees if the labeled worth is more than 22 EUR including shipping.

In the last months I probably had more than 50 envelopes with cosmetics that went through the customs with no problems and they were always labeled as cosmetics, eyeshadows or lipstick.

Really??? Why am I unlucky then? I had customers that said they had problems with German customs in the past; now I am not sure what to do.

Perhaps I would be willing to try again for any of you lovely Specktra ladies in Germany!

I am so sorry that you had problems in the past!

What could cause problems is if the item (cosmetics and not brushes) is without the original packaging where the ingredients are listed.
If the customs open the package/envelope usually they must be able to see which ingredients are used. So speaking of MAC the items should be in the original packaging.
Because of that some sellers don't ship unboxed items to Germany but I also never had problems with that too.

Once I had to pick up one envelope from the customs with pigment samples where of course you can't look which ingredients are used and opened it right in front of customs officials and they said nothing.

The customs here keep some packages which you have to pick up there when the custom declaration isn't clear enough (for example just "accessories" instead of "cosmetics" or "lipsticks" or "eyeshadows") or the worth is over 22 EUR including shipping and you have to pay fees.

Another envelope I picked up at the customs was filled with MAC goodies and also some were without the original packaging and I had no problems this time and opened it in front of two custom officials too.

I got a fake from the Beauty Wizard (same as beautywizardry) . This question was awhile ago but know one answered so I wanted to let everyone know. I dont know about the rest of their stuff but this rare item wasn't real even though the seller thought & said it was. I also had a friend who really knows MAC check it out and confirmed it.

I answered this question here instead of the counterfiet forum since the question was posted here, should I change it?

Please be aware that many of the ebay sellers especially those selling pigments will, in the beginning, sell auth items so as to build good feedback. After a while they start selling counterfeit. Some sellers even include pics of auth items but it is not what you receive when you buy from them . I recently purchased pigments from seven different sellers and only two were authentic. I immediately contacted them and told them I was sending the items for a full refund to include shipping, I didn't ask if I could sent it back I told them I would and upon my full refund I would not leave negative feedback. One or two indignantly indicated they had receipts to prove authenticity and went on and on about all their positive f/b. Many fake sellers have positive feedback because buyers are aware!! Vdarkbloom is authentic. The fake ones (just off the top of my head) were hatr61 & bevhasitall64. They were both quite indignant and had ridiculous stories how they buy closeouts lots directly from MAC.
