Just want to say, as an Ebay seller of authentic MAC that you can get authentic items at close-out prices- ONLY through the Estee Lauder/MAC warehouse sales in the US. I can often tell by the buyers location--if they live near a MAC warehouse, I believe it's real. MAC does not sell close out lots. OR you can get them from an international seller. US companies will not flood the US market with current season close-outs, but they will ship/sell outside the country. I have to say though, with this ecomony is tough and I am seeing real Aveda, Estee Lauder at some of the closeout warehouses that I visit.

I am a real newbie around here and found Spektra whilst searching for buying MAC on Ebay advice as ... Wait for it .... I had all my make up stolen

I really can’t afford to walk into MAC and replace it all so I was hoping to pick up some bargains and to start to build my collection again. (finding out about the clearance bins on here is an added bonus! Come on 20 posts!!)

Can anyone form the UK recommend good sellers that are either based here or send quickly to the uk?

Oh that sucks! OK, on to helping you out - I'm from Finland, and a seasoned ebay MAC shopper: Julie150463 and charleyandemily are both British and sell the real deal. Other sellers (all from US or Canada) I've bought from and have liked are: makeupemporium1, rio5743, my-boo-kitty, sundial92, sherry1122, pinkdaisygirls, phcharm, auburn321, cozmetixclub, beautycare2006 and closetmustgo. You should check the ones I posted on last page, if they ship to Finland I'm pretty sure they'll ship to Israel!

Has anyone had any experience with the eBay UK seller pink_cosmetics (eBay Store Pink Class Cosmetics)? They have a few Tendertones for sale but I've not come across them before & I couldn't find anything here.

For me it depends what product I'm buying. For example all my pigment/glitter samples I only buy from 1165Cheryl/ Cheryl's Shiny Eyes and have for a long time. I havent found another seller who treats buyers like she does, has authentic products (has receipts) and she ships all over the world.

For items MAC Cosmetics still stocks then I buy from them, I'd rather pay retail then take a chance trying to get a "deal" on Ebay. For MAC Pro, or discontinued items I sometimes buy from Ebay from some of the people mentioned below or have someone do a CP for me.

It also depend on what country they are in, I try and stick to U.S. sellers due to the conversion exchange, shipping, ect. For non pigment items I'm so thankful I found this place, between Cheryl and the great people here, I've gotten to know some of the better Ebay sellers and am slowly learning how to spot fakes.

A big thanks to so many people here that help others and take the time to answer our questions, I know so many are busy running companies, working, ect but you still come here and help others when you can.
