I really liked the swatch of it, but I keep hearing that the formula isn't right. I hear that it just sits there instead of melting into the skin like the usual Chanel blush. That makes me hesitate. I'm so confused.

I'm rethinking pink explosion now... i wore MAC's Buddy Up MB today and remembered just how nicely MB's last on my cheeks. I applied it at 8 am and it was still on me when I washed it off about 45 minutes ago. So I may pick up two MB's from In the Groove and pass on PE. Ofcourse, I say that now, but any of you that have gotten to know me on here can probably predict what will happen!!!

Oh, and totally off topic but just had to share. We went by our new house today to see where they're at. It's almost done!!! They're just about ready to install the flooring, they've started to stain the steps, our cabinets are ready for installation, tiles are in and I'm just so excited. Not sure at this point what exactly is going to take them another three months, so it may be done sooner. Sorry, just had to share!

I have Orange Fizz, too and I love it for summer! It is not too orangey. It was my first Chanel n/p

I can only imagine how great it feels to see your new home growing from the ground up and be near completion. I can't wait for you guys to move in and begin the next chapter in your happy new home! Ok, random but...

Am I missing out? I don't own any MAC mineral blushes. None!

I like controlling the shine factor on my cheeks, so I use a normal blush and MSF's lightly only in certain areas. I think I could really like MB's, but I'm always afraid they'll look like I smeared some shiny goop all over my face. I've tried a few different colors on in the store, but for some reason they never look the same when I step outside, so I don't trust that...at all.

Happy Together and Band Of Roses from ITG look really lovely...

Omg. Ladies, I am loving my first Stylo Yeux Waterproof (Espresso!). The tip is so fine so you can really wedge it in between your lashes for that very natural full-lash look and it does not budge! Someone snatched the Cassis tester off my Chanel counter (ew, why? germs!) so I played around with the other colors instead. Loving Violine, the more vibrant purple shade.

On another note, I haven't been tempted by any of the MAC collections lately. The SR hype seems a little crazy, so I dunno if I want to enter into the ITG thread and check out the madness just yet.

Me too on the Espresso. I agree. I used it between the upper lashes & it worked great.

Hi Winthrop! Waterlily is very sheer, not much sparkle, a mauvey-pink. Rose Sand has more shimmer, and a tad more pigment, but it's warmer. The link below may help:

It depends on the MB. Some are definitely shimmery, even sparkly. Some are a lot like MSF's but with more colour. But there are many that just have a sheen to them and don't look that shimmery on. I like the overall texture of JC's better as they are definitely finer milled, but the MB's seem to last better on me. My other favourite for blush is Giorgio Armani, the texture is amazing, but the colour selection is extremely limited.

I'll be checking out Band of Roses and Hang Loose MB's today, the rest are really similar to past duos.

I love Karla's swatches of the button quad. Even though it reminds me of Kaska Beige, I still want it quite badly.

Stv578 -- Congrats on your house moving along so quickly! It is so exciting to see everything come together!! I can't believe it took over a month just to have all of our new flooring in after the flood -- but it was worth the wait!

Meg -- I think you would like some of the MAC mineralized blushes. I have Warm Soul and it just give a really pretty glow (almost like a bronzer, but not too deep). That shade isn't sparkly (but some are). My skin gets shiny and I definitely don't like to emphasize my pores/shine. I'll see what the new ITG duos look like on me. I did try By Candlelight when it came out last time and it was pretty as a highlighter.

Shypo -- the girls weekend will be on August 19. She is my roommate from college and it has been forever since we've seen each other! Her husband wanted to do something special for her, and it is so sweet that he is treating me to the entire trip! For her birthday present, I want to give her some of my favorite things -- so I figured some Chanel makeup is in order!! Oh yes, there will be plenty of shopping.

I will take pics -- I'm sure the shopping is much better in PA then where I live (like actually having a Chanel counter, and not having to order everything online!!)
