OK ladies - sorry for the delay but I've been working all day and have much chaos in the house right now....

I have ordered from Izzy's before and had no issues at all. In fact I placed another order last night. I use paypal. I received my stuff in about a week (probably less) - they're based in the US as I recall.

I've also ordered from Beauty Encounter - just got an order today (Lavande eye shadow and the Petit Pinceau brush). Everything arrived fine and dandy!!

Welcome Sass! Glad you're here! It gets a little crazy sometimes, but not nearly as bad as Stereo Rose Fever!!

Shontay, now you have me wanting Chalys....but I may try Pink Teaser over Genial - I'm sure that's just as gorgeous.....and I loved your lip look in the ITG thread - I think it was Jazzed and something (sorry, I cannot remember - Richer, Lusher maybe?) - I liked that a lot!!

I'll be in your neck of the woods tomorrow - not looking forward to HHH in the middle of NYC, but what can ya do?

Let us know how you like them! I know what you mean, though, sometimes it is hard to get hooked on another brand. I haven't even ventured into brands like Guerlain and Chantecaille because Chanel is pricey enough

But I do like the looks of the Burberry packaging!

Good lord have mercy even though I don't believe in thee - I was about to order the button quad and the Rouge Noir mascara from Nordstrom but the shipping prices were insane! My order total was going to be nearly 160$ for the two items!! I'm about to cry now, I was really excited for those as well as Enigma quad and Taupe Grise single e/s but I simply cannot justify those shipping prices+duty.

How on earth can they ask so much (about 50$+tax) to ship two or four small makeup products?

I usually never rant about shipping prices, because in many cases they are what they are, but Chanel is pricey as it is so I don't want to pay more for shipping that I would for some of the products. Oh sigh...

I can just hope I will get my hands on Enigma and Taupe Grise if they launch them here. Do you know if the mascara is Nordstrom exclusive too?

I do not understand that, either you offer international shipping or not. Not just offer it and then make it so uninteresting that no one wants to use it.
Are you not sure if the collection launches in Fi? Let me know if I can get something for you, although I am not sure about the prices here.

Btw, does anyone know how close Taupe Grise is to Smoke & Diamonds?

I don't know how close TG is to S&D, but Pink Sith did a comparison to Moth Brown: Pink Sith: Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Taupe Grisé

I think there's plenty of comparisons between S&D and MB, so that should give you some idea. I can do a comparison later. Plenty of sun today for swatching!

I understood that the Quatuor Boutons de Chanel and the Inimitable Mascara Rouge Noir are Nordstrom exclusives, so they wouldn't be available anywhere else? Please correct me if I'm wrong!

I hope the fall collection with the Enigma quad will be released here!

I was first very pleased to see Nordstrom offered international shipping as many places don't, but duh...

I would imagine Taupe Grise being more purple than Smoke&Diamonds?

S&D & TG aren't really even close in color.

S&D - more of a very slight greenish cast lighter taupey grey
TG - more of a deeper charcoal grey, slight taupe, slight deep purple

I think Chanel TG (for me) is def. unique & beautifully pigmented & very pretty on - especially if you like a smokey eye.

I'm so sorry...those shipping fees are ridiculously high!!! Do you know how much it usually costs to send a package to you from the US normally? Maybe you could ask for a CP instead? I can't imagine it actually costing anywhere near that amount. I'd offer to do it myself, but both of those items are already sold out here at my Nordies (just went to check for my mom).
