Sometime late next week or early the following week is when they are doing the offers. Ugh, I hate waiting!

I know waiting is hard, but try to relax, I am sure it will all work out

Now, of course, comes the waiting game. Three or four positions with approximately 20 applicants. Plus, they're government positions, so vets/disabled vets will get preference. Still, crossing my fingers. I think I'd do really well in either position.

Karin, I'm glad the interview went well. I seriously hope you get one of the positions, that would be awesome. I'll cross my fingers for you too... hoping we'll all be celebrating on here in a couple of weeks!

I've been dying to try my new Lavande and Amethyst shadows, so worked on this more dramatic look this afternoon - it looked better IRL than the pictures show.....but maybe you can get the idea. It's an eye that really requires falsh lashes, but I've never done those myself, so I had to rely on Diorshow mascara. Oh, and PLEASE forgive the brows - I'm growing them out, and the color I used here really came out wonky in the photos. It wasn't really that bad!

The Shiseido Mascara base is a funny creature -- it looks almost translucent and it will hold the curl even if you have stick straight asian lashes.. it is a wonderful product. I have a few back ups of it just in case they dc it.

I did come on the site at 3:30 last night.. and it was lovely to know others were around at that time also.. then I did my mu.. just so I don't forget how to..lol.

I did buy (before my hubby passed) an Enigma quad, a Vert khaki ES, and the Paradoxal np.. but I have not used anything yet -- everything happened so suddenly and I probably won't try anything for a few weeks. I did not buy any lippies cause I have so many of my own plus so many to test still.. it seemed wasteful. Same with blushes --- I use the BoR and the BR a lot and am loving the BoA too.. so, even if I did not get to replace my SR, I still have a lot of mu which has not been even tried

HerGreyness, as others have said here, I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. I am so so sorry for your loss. Please know that you have many friendly ladies on here to chat with whenever you need to.

Cheryl - Gorgeous! I love this entire look, you're so beautiful.

HerGreyness - I'm so glad to see you around here! I'm terribly sorry for your loss and I know what you're going through has to feel impossible. Please know you have many friends here if you ever need us. By the way, I just received an extra Stereo Rose from my Sister in Law (she wasn't sure if I was able to pick it up, and wanted to make sure I got one, lol) that I would love to see end up with someone who will use it. I was planning on sending it back to her, but if you'd like it...I'll pay her for it and send it to you for cost + shipping. Let me know if you'd like it dear, I'd be happy to do it.

Karin - Glad to hear the interview went well! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. If they have any sense at all they won't hesitate to make you the offer!

Chanel Stuff (I'm not always off topic, lol!): I can't say enough how much I love Pink Explosion! I wore it again today and I just love the pinky flush it gives my cheeks. To me it's the perfect pink blush to wear with an intense lip or eye look...love it!

Karin, good luck. We know waiting is hard but we can distract ourselves with some Chanel makeup.

Thanks for your thoughts on the shiseido mascara base. I've heard so much about it but I never tried it before. Yes, I have straight downwards pointing asian lashes.
