Thank you so much! Is the Chanel boutique online, or do you have to visit? If it's an in-person thing, I think I have to plan a trip to NYC - to visit this as well as the MUFE f/s store to get their version of the MAC paint pots that Shontay raves about.......where is that train ticket.........

No, you can call. Or write a begging e-mail thru Chanel.com.

If you write they'll write back and you'll get either a condolence e-mail or they'll ask you for some info and you'll eventually get a call from the boutique asking for your cc# .

The MUFE store in NYC is also very nice on the phone. I know they send free foundation samples, not sure if they do sales but it might be worth asking?

Thanks so much for the info - one last question - is it a particular Chanel boutique? I noticed there are several in the NYC area....apparently there's also one in Boston (where I'll be in a couple of weeks - yay!!!) that might have some goodies to behold......

If nothing else I bet they can search stock at all boutiques for you. I had written the number down that I dealt with but can't find it!

I see 2 in NYC on the web site - one on East 57th and the other on Spring St. I think I'd probably try the first one, on 57th, and see what they say, if you want to search before your trip.

That's my most regretted make up miss...

My adored Chanel SA, saved it for me when it was released... at that moment found it not that apealing and leave it... a week before I returned to get it and it was gone for good...

Ever since I have wanted to turn back the clock and be able to get it!!

I seriously wish I could get it!!

I also wish I lived at US and could give that Chanel boutique a call...

You know chanel.com does have that Deja Vu section of their web site. I did write to them begging them to bring back Turbulent one day and they said to keep checking that section. You never know.

Wow, what a collection you have! I love my MAC, but decided I needed to branch out. I started by ordering one lipstick and one Aqualumiere gloss from the Chanel website . . . and now the obession has begun! Only, this Chanel obsession is much more expensive (my husband still does not get it)! I *love* that your mom gave you Chanel for your 18th birthday. I have 3 little girls who already are dying to get into my makeup -- what a sweet gift when they get older!

OK, I was a bad girl tonight - the siren sound of Chanel was calling me from Macy's.......I picked up Rose Taffetas RC, Summer Plum and Galactic glossimer, Rose Petale blush (it is SO pretty) and I'm giving Teint Innocence foundation a whirl. I have it on now, and I have to say I like the finish and the color match (for me it's 76 Soft Bisque 2.5).

Orchidee and Muse looked ick on me - so those were a pass. I will also at some point get In Love JC, as I had a hard time deciding between it and Rose Petale....but since I'm more of a 'pink' girl, I opted for RP this time 'round. In Love is just gorgeous though - a great summer color. I'd like to try to find Tea Rose to test it out.......

My vacation comes to a close with lots of makeup shopping this week......better look into that second job to feed my habit!

Rose Petale is in my chanel cart!

I LOVE the Teint Innocence foundation - the look is so beautiful. My daughter in law talked me into it because she loves it so much.

I have 2 BB blush tints in my Neimans cart. I bought the sheer pink & now I want the lilac & the coral

It will never stop

No, it won't....I'm actually considering going to the IMATS show in Pasadena in June.....egads. Flying 3000 miles to see makeup!

I can't think of a better way to spend a trip!

The blush tints sound interesting......I'll have to check them out too!

I'm glad you like the Teint Innocence - I'm really impressed with the finish. Trying to decide which brush to use - I think I'll try either the 138 or 165 as I really like those for foundation.

Have you checked out Wayne Goss's videos yet? Shontay put a link up in the MUFE forum and I've been hooked on him all day - he has 127 videos out there on everything you can imagine. He's quite funny too - he has a couple of vids where he makes over one of his friends and he cracks me up.

No Chanel though - he's a MUFE guy - interesting choices on brushes too - I know I'm WOOT.

It is fun -- but it is so dangerous having 3 girls. They love to shop like me! My oldest is almost 11 and already keeps asking me when she can wear makeup (what age should they start wearing makeup?). But even my youngest at age 4 wants to wear it, too LOL My husband just shakes his head . . .

Galactic is stunning! The fine glitters of violet, pink, blue, silver and gold are hypnotising. So many colours!

Did you get the liquid TI or cream compact? I am finally finishing my bottle of liquid TI in 20 and have been considering if I should replace it or get the cream instead, or even DiorSkin Nude. I like foundation with such finishes unless I need heavier coverage for photos.

Yes, I do have "quite" a collection... 4-5 times more glossimers than I posted.

Thankfully, my hubby does understand and supports my makeup addiction!!

My mom has never been too into make up...as I always have. That gloss was quite unexpected and until this day it's my most beloved make up possession.

I got the compact, which I find I prefer sometimes - I'm glad it's water-based as in the summer I usually wear a powder foundation like Bare Minerals or Laura Geller's Balance -n- Brighten (which I really like). I just wanted to see if I would like this as I'm looking for a more 'formal' finish without the 'cake', if you know what I mean.

I think this over Shontay's Lumiere will be quite nice - going to try it today!

Hypathya, I promise to do a CP for you if I ever see Turbulent in that section, ok?

Don't anyone in this thread hit me but in general I prefer MAC's Cremesheen glasses and dazzleglasses, or Chantecaille's Brilliant glosses, to the glossimers. I love the more pigmented glossimers like Wild Rose, but alot of the others are too frosty and unpigmented for me. Does anyone else feel like this? Maybe it's my pigmented lips.
