^^ Courtisan is pigmented too! Maybe you will like it. I like the glossimers because they are not as sticky as some other glosses. My lips are only a little pigmented, not very pale unless I'm sick.

I just refresh my memory by seeing the JC swatches at mymakeupreviews. Turbulent is so pretty!

Hypathya, I promise to do a CP for you if I ever see Turbulent in that section, ok?

Don't anyone in this thread hit me but in general I prefer MAC's Cremesheen glasses and dazzleglasses, or Chantecaille's Brilliant glosses, to the glossimers. I love the more pigmented glossimers like Wild Rose, but alot of the others are too frosty and unpigmented for me. Does anyone else feel like this? Maybe it's my pigmented lips.

Oh dear!!! You've made my day!!

I'll keep the faith of someday owning Turbulent!!

I adore Cremesheens because Chanel very rarely does creme glosses but I wouldn't change my Levres Scintillants for anything in the world!! Rouge Allure Laque doesn't hold that many shades either. Cremesheens and Dazzleglasses are awesome, it's just I love my Chanel better.

Unfortunately I have been unable to try Chantecaille as it's unavailable here. Some how every time I travel, I just forget to check it out.

As I said Wayne is the greatest.

I adore his personality, his generosity, his honesty and simplicity. I'm always amazed by the simple and concise way he explains things. Besides, he's gorgeous!!

I LOVE the Teint Innocence foundation - the look is so beautiful. My daughter in law talked me into it because she loves it so much.

I have 2 BB blush tints in my Neimans cart. I bought the sheer pink & now I want the lilac & the coral

It will never stop

Elegantone -- did you already buy the Rose Petale blush? Please let me know how you like it! It is on my wish-list! Does the Chanel website ever do free shipping??

Chanel.com has free shipping right now until May 2!

No, I didn't click the order button yet until I decide what else I want. But I will definitely let you know what I think when I do get it

Hi Bonitinha - I bought Rose Petale last night - it is really pretty - like the perfect dusty rose. It goes on very smoothly and has a subtle shimmer, but not too much. I think it's going to be one of my favorites for a soft look!

Thanks Shypo and Elegant-one
Free shipping -- that makes me want to buy it all the more!

I really want Silex and Venus glossimers -- they are on the Nordstrom website, but not on Chanel. Darn it!! I am still intrigued by the Bikini Peach, too. Hmm, we'll see what I end up getting

Nordstrom offers $5 shipping with a $50 beauty order.

I know - free shipping gets me every time

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

I happened to be at the counter today and got to see Rose Petale and Tea Rose. The samples were not in the best condition as the surfaces have harden from the finger swatching but I managed to get them to show on the back of my hand. I love RP a little more than TR at the moment.
tong.gif
I'm not rushing to buy any JCs though, because I'm not a big blush person. Eyeshadows and lippies are my weaknesses.

I think I am 100% sold on Rose Petale! I wish I could check out In Love blush in person -- not sure if it is too warm for my skintone. But I think Rose Petale will be fabulous!!

Did you get the chance to swatch Gold e/s? Did you liked it? Did you get it?

In Love it's not properly warm. I mean it's warm, but it's a bright orange coral with slight golden shimmer and pink undertones. It's a bit like the orangy part in Ripe Peach but richer.

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

I bought my first-ever Chanel product today (well, not counting nail polish). I've started a new skin care regimen (Clarins) and my skin is looking so nice lately that I dont want to wear tons of foundation, so I wanted to get a really good concealer to just touch up any trouble spots. Ended up going with the Correcteur Perfection in 10 Beige Clair, and I love it. Reviews were mixed on makeupalley, but it covers well (it's not a really full coverage but it layers easily) and I like the way it seems to reflect light. Also, it's SO liquidy smooth and easy to use. I also scheduled a Chanel makeover for this Saturday - she said it's usually a two product minimum but that it would be gratis to introduce me to the brand (I'll buy at least one product though). Really looking forward to it.

Any Chanel stuff in particular I should check out on Saturday? Besides gloss that is - I'm not really a gloss person and have enough of them already.

Gold wasn't there! I've seen and played with it several times before at other counters.

Do you use it as a lid colour or highlight? And what other colours does it go well with?

I agree with Hypathya. In Love is not really warm, I think she described it well. I don't like blushes that are very warm and orangey and In Love is not that.

Anyone has Freques JC? It was released last fall. It turned very orange on me so I passed. Is it meant to be so orange?

How about lipsticks? You can check out the new Rouge Cocos. If you like quads, you’ll find something you like from the range. If you want quality eyeshadows in basic colours, the single eyeshadows are good. Don’t miss out on the Joues Contrast to.! Enjoy your makeover and share it with us!

I'm with Miss QQ, esp on the Rouge Cocos and the Joues Contraste blushes. Have a great time and come back and tell us all about it!

Congrats on your first Chanel product!!

I wouldn't miss the Joues Contraste blushes, especially if your skin is looking nice and don't want to wear foundation. Those blushes are the best in the universe, IMO. I think they'll add an exciting color and glow to your complexion!!

Also, the Base Lumiere it's a make up primer that adds the most gorgeous glow to both a bare or with make up complexion. Since the summer it's around the corner, maybe the Soleil Tan creme bronzer it's a good option too.

As other said the quads, the single eyeshadows and the Rouge Coco Lippies are really worth trying.

Oh dear!! I don't have it, I've played with it!! I'm contemplating to get it since I decided to skip the Noir et Or Palette.

I don't have Fresque, I remember swatching it during the fall... I wasn't convinced. It wasn't orangey on me, but rather peachy and too light. I was tempted to get it a highlighter... but I don't know.

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

I've been trying to buy Mousee Confort - rinse off foaming mousse cleanser for two months already. Today I called a counter and there is still no stock. It is out of stock at all counters in my country for a few months! The SAs are saying that the warehouse has no stock at all. I really like this cleanser a lot, it leaves my skin soft and clean and the scent is heavenly.
