Thanks for confirming. That's what I thought. Most of my products say made in France or Italy, but I have one thing (highlighter concealer pen) that says made in New York I believe.

Elegant - When I read the crazy comment in the TTB thread, I sort of laughed/spit out water. My husband leaned over his side of our double desk and gave me this look (you guys know the look, the "what the hell is going on over there woman?!?" look) and I thought to myself...well damn, she's right!

Shypo - I need to wait for June for my next purchases so I'm gonna hold off on Venus for now (TTB ate my budget for May and then some). If the offer still stands in a few weeks I may take you up on it, thanks so much!

I asked the other mods about this a little while ago. Was not approved for now, but if this thread keeps on rockin' we may be able to justify it. I moderate Cosmetic Discussion and all its subforums so hopefully in the future we can get a Chanel subforum. Got the MUFE one implemented, so I'll keep trying for Chanel.

just butting in for a second: i've been doing burn fat boost metabolism for a few days and it really is a butt kicker. the first day i only made it through the first 20 minutes (ha!), but i'm also in the worst shape of my life. goal is to lose about 50 pounds this summer so i can do all this chanel business some justice. is it any coincidence that it was only after i put on a ton of weight that i became super interested in makeup? (went from 117-125 range my whole life to 170 in just 2 years)

Seriously, you are so right! Same with handbags and shoes! It doesn't matter what size my ass is, makeup, handbags and shoes always fit!!

I just did that workout this morning. The second to last interval is the hardest and I do believe at one point I thought I was going to pass out/be sick. LOL She also has one called No More Trouble Zones that is with weights -- equally as torturous! I am wanting to get really toned, so I'm keeping up with the hard workouts . . . and then I'm rewarding myself with Chanel makeup!

Meg, re: your post on the TTB thread and the UPS guy.......I absolutely cannot believe that!!! I was equal parts laughing and grossed out!! And as someone on that thread said, ew ew ew!!! Guys can be such guys! I cannot even imagine ever doing that!

On a serious note, however, you should be very careful - now that he's snaked his way in, he might think it's a piece of cake and who knows what he might try next.

Thank you for the support! I am trying to get motivated. Let the end of my 20s go down in personal history as my chunko period, and let my 30s and 40s be the most fit! Yeah, that's the ticket!

Seriously, when I'm done, my face is sheet white. The ultimate detox. Too bad it hurts so bad to try and look good. I'll have to make specific goals. I wonder what the first prize shall be. Glossimers do sound pretty, pretty good.

Me, too! I'm tired of staring at all my "skinny clothes" in my closet. I want to wear them! I'm going to finish my twenties and start my thirties fit, toned, with a kick-ass body!
