Are they different from the permanent pearls? Meaning the finish?

Oh no on the visual

No not really....except maybe a bit less shimmery on than some. These have a beautiful soft focus with a bit of glowy shimmer. I would also say that they are just a tad warmer glow than the others...just a tad.

Update on the rude sephora cs call. I called the rouge vib line this morning & she was very very nice. She apologized all over the place, said that the previous cs chic's comments were completely unacceptable, gave me 500 points

& forwarded the complaint on to corporate. Plus, they updated my shipping to overnight & its supposed to be here today instead of Thursday. So I would say that it was dealt with very well.

The Matte and the Rouge G are the same color on me, however I love the matte finish better.

Nice! I'm waiting anxiously for Chanel also. I grabbed a velvet matte and ladybug rain boots for the little one. I had to go to the sample page to get my samples.

The Mac brush is FANTASTIC....none of this 'It will make you look airbrushed' crap and then it doesn't (can't tell you how many brushes I've bought with that particular recommendation)...this one actually does. Best foundation brush ever! I use NARS tinted moisturizer, then follow up with MAC skinfinish natural (?)...Looks amazing. If I showed you a before and used my pic from yesterday as after, you would not believe it. I disagree with Meddy, though, it is a b#%^&$# to clean. It looks clean on the outside pretty quickly, but if you push around those dense fibers, product is still there. I agree with her that it does take longer to dry, but I just do it before bed, and it's fine the next day.

Good! I've worked customer service, so I know it can suck...but still, I tried to treat every customer with a new face and attitude even if the previous person was terrible. You just can't let it get to you because it will bite you back in the end (like this rep will probably get a talking to at the least).
