Well, Temptalia has a review of it posted, but this probably isn't going to make your wallet any happier...I went to a Guerlain counter on Saturday for an appointment to get my "makeup profile" and see which products would suit me. It was so fun! I'm new to the whole luxury makeup brands like Guerlain, so it was an interesting experience. I was surprised that none of the face products (mostly the blush) didn't cause breakouts because I'm quite sensitive to blushes. The lady at the counter also put a few things from the holiday collection, and damn they look amazing. D: I'm going to buy the Dragon Balls (lmao) this week but I don't know if I should get the Wulong compact too. I don't know, like I can take the risk to spend $58 on the meteorites but I don't have the heart to shell out $170 for one makeup item despite looking great on me. What can I do? Does anyone own the Wulong compact and can tell me the pros and cons?
I hope one day I will get it as a preset..))Well, Temptalia has a review of it posted, but this probably isn't going to make your wallet any happier...

I've promised myself that I won't even let myself try it, just in case it looks fabulous. I know I can't afford it with everything else I want from the collection.
Were you able to get the Meteorites and the compact before they sold out? I wanted to know what you thought of them.Geez Guerlain products are selling like hot cakes on the Sephora site right now. I've had two things go OOS on my list since this morning. All Meteorites are sold out including the primer.
I would like to know also. I am SOOOOO tempted to bite the bullet and go on and get it, especially after reading T's review. I haven't found really any other detailed reviews.I went to a Guerlain counter on Saturday for an appointment to get my "makeup profile" and see which products would suit me. It was so fun! I loved that one as well. Just swatched it on my hand but it was lovely. On my list it goes.I just saw the holiday lipsticks IRL. I am doomed. They are gorgeous. I want the red/burgundy but the $35 price tag is making me hesitate.
Yes its the Turandot. Neiman Marcus.com still has it. Free Shipping. It was sold out everywhere else I looked. Is this the Turandot palette? Love it! I keep thinking the stores around here haven't gotten it in yet, but now I'm thinking maybe it's just soldout. I saw the holiday display and Les Fauves was there. Love Les Fauves. I was trying to get it in the summer but other purchases got in the way. Then I figured that it might look better in the summer. But now I see that it is listed as part of the Fall Collection. Why did I think this was part of a summer collection. On my list it goes. I may have to search for Turandot now.

Thanks for sharing that story. I didn't know the source of the name. I see how it fits into the collection and makes the palette even more interesting.I don't normally wear eyeshadow but the Turandot palette looks nice enough. I want one because of the name though! For those who do not know, Turandot is the name of an opera by Puccini, and it is about a Chinese princess with three riddles for every suitor, and if the suitor cannot guess the answers then he is to be put to death as a revenge for her ancestor who was killed by a conquering prince. All have failed except one, and yet the cold princess still is reluctant to honor her word of marriage even after this prince solved her riddles, to give her a way out, he then gives her his own riddle. The play ends in both a tragic and beautiful way. Princess Turandot, I think, is a symbol of a Chinese woman's revolt.
This is why I want the palette.
Is it Limited Edition?
Also, has anyone tried the Parure de Lumiere? I want it but I have oily skin!

This was the reason I wanted it too. I grew up in a family of opera fans and I actually meant to pick up Liu Rouge Automatique as well. (Also, it's a gorgeous bright cherry red, which I love anyway.)I don't normally wear eyeshadow but the Turandot palette looks nice enough. I want one because of the name though!
