I have. It's much much better for oily skin than the Lingerie de Peau. I think it's actually really nice. Maybe ask for a sample at the counter first if you can?

I don't normally wear eyeshadow but the Turandot palette looks nice enough. I want one because of the name though! For those who do not know, Turandot is the name of an opera by Puccini, and it is about a Chinese princess with three riddles for every suitor, and if the suitor cannot guess the answers then he is to be put to death as a revenge for her ancestor who was killed by a conquering prince. All have failed except one, and yet the cold princess still is reluctant to honor her word of marriage even after this prince solved her riddles, to give her a way out, he then gives her his own riddle. The play ends in both a tragic and beautiful way. Princess Turandot, I think, is a symbol of a Chinese woman's revolt.
This is why I want the palette.
Is it Limited Edition?

Also, has anyone tried the Parure de Lumiere? I want it but I have oily skin!

Thank you, maybe I will try this one. I was not impressed with Lingerie de Peau. I bought it in shade #1 (which Nordies site did not have) from Sephora a few weeks ago. The color is still too dark.

I see that Sephora has the Parure de Lumiere in shade #1.

I guess if it doesn't work I'll go ahead and buy Armani Lasting Silk. The lightest is #2. But it is still lighter that #1 in Lingerie de Peau.

Oh, also has anyone tried the Chantecaille Les Pétales de Rose Highlighting Powder. It lloks so lovely. Best Things in Beauty has a short review but her skin is dry.

I don't care for cream highlights as they seem to make my oilies worse. And I'm not very good at applying them.

I saw that review and it made me simultaneously angry and happy that I don't live anywhere near a Chantecaille counter.

Parure de Lumière is normally better for dry skins according to the brand or Sephora. I love Lingerie de Peau ( combination skin ), but I haven't tried Parure de Lumière yet.
Not too greasy ? Is the coverage ok ? I am not a fan of foundations but I'd really like to try a good one with medium coverage in fact.
Thanks !

they might say it's more for normal od dry skin but it is not. i found it pretty drying and i had to mositurize really good or it would accentuate my dry areas and would make my skin feel tight
coverage is medium

I did a google search for Turandot and came across what I thought was a promo image for this collection. Upon reading the site, I realized they were pics of a blogger. The products look amazing here. I must get these!

Does anyone like Guerlain glosses? Any recs?
I haven't bought many, because I don't care for the fruity scent and because I'm more of a lipstick girl, but they are nice. There's a lovely berry one (867 I think) that I love. The lasting time isn't great on them, at least on me (less than Chanel glossimers), but it's adequate. I find them particularly hydrating, even for a gloss.

I love Guerlain glosses, they are one of the nicest (if not THE nicest) glosses. They aren't at all sticky or gritty and come in loads of gorgeous shades. Nowadays I'm more of a lipstick person, so haven 't been giving them the love they deserve.

Does anyone use Guerlain's Abeille Royale serum?

I use the Abeille Royale toner, day cream and eye cream and really like them. Just wondering if the serum does much considering it's roughly $150.

I only have one. Like katred, I don't like the fruity scent. I like the glossy and multi-shimmer effect, and I think they come in very pretty shades. The scent is a big turn off for me so I won't be getting any until, if ever, Guerlain changes the scent.

I got my Meteorites Illuminating & Mattifying Pressed Powder in 02 Teint Beige yesterday! Wooohoooo!

Well, I actually got 3. I first got two from Sephora because they had 50% off the second makeup item. Then I went to ICIParisXL to see if they had Sisley's Oil Free Foundation in in 0 Porcelain because they have 25% off when you buy 2+ makeup items. They only had one left, so I got a third Meteorites to be eligible for the discount.

I think I'm going to keep two and give the third one to my mum. She was also looking for a pressed powder.

I love the look of the compact and the powder itself is gorgeous. I'm not too enamoured by the violet smell though. It's going to take some time to get used to it.

A serum is more important than any beauty product in fact. I don't use the Guerlain one ( I much prefer Estee Lauder or Chanel skincare ) but I guess it's good, esp if you already use the Abeille Royale creams.
The most important of all : moisturizing and Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum ( around 90 € ) is really very very good

Yikes! I've been googling reviews re: Meteorites Illuminating & Mattifying Pressed Powder and quite a few say that it oxidies like crazy

. No bueno. I'm not a fan of the tangoed look thank you very much.

Serves me right for not having done my research properly. Perhaps I should just return them straight away

I've been using a sample I got and I do like it, but I generally find Guerlain's skin care products too heavily scented for my liking. (Strangely, I really love the scent of their cosmetics.) In terms of serums, I love the Korres Wild Rose one. For skin care, I generally favour Korres, Nuxe and Skyn Iceland (more recently). I've not been as impressed with the prestige skin care offerings.

It doesn't oxidise on me at all. I've never had trouble with it myself. And I love the violet scent, the best thing about Meteorites imo. :)
