hmmmm...well its always convient how i meet him....i met my boyfriend at work..it was an early morning shift and i noticed him and i was dumb founded by him. something about him drew all my attention to him. and for the first time i was completely myself..and he still talked to me. we went a couple weeks of bumping into each other at work and talking that somehow turned into flirting and the weekend after thanksgiving (black friday) i finally made a move and got his number. i just cant get enough of him! we have been seeing each other for a couple months and i want so badly to tell him that i love him but im not sure if he is ready to hear it...

I met my other half at work.
We both worked at a crappy call centre, selling/promoting 'free' kitchens. I had just finished college (18) and he was in his third year uni (22).
When we met, i was seeing someone who dumped me after three weeks. He was just coming out of a two-and-a-half-year relationship that had gone badly near the end. We didn't get together straight away.
Six years later, we're together and happy

And we might be working together again soon!

I just turned 17 years old, and i was at this boardwalk with my family, I was pretty bored so i was looking around to see if i saw any hot boys LOL! There's an exotic pet lover community on a forum and this dude who's into snakes held a gathering at Burger King. I liked snakes very much but mom wouldn't let me have one. So, I was more into spiders but thought I could go to the gathering to have a look at a few snakes. And the organizer, as he claims, was sweet on me the first time he met me. lol. My friends noticed it... he actually asked for everyone's number so that when he asked for mine it wouldn't be so obvious. Unfortunately, I was into another dude at that time.

The courtship lasted about a month. He'd sent me texts about random stuff. Casually ask if I wanna meet up for a drink. He didn't seem too likable though at first... personality wise. He kinda gives that kind of impression for some reason. meh. But when you love him, you just love him. Applying to friends as well.

Finally, I decided to meet up with him for a drink and we talked... and apparently we had quite alot in common. then he'd start calling me and we'd chat on the phone... then we went on 2 dates... and tada!

We've been together ever since. And that was 2 years ago.

My mom is a nurse and his mom was one of her patients, and when she found that "the kids" were going to the same high school, she made it her duty to make sure we were friends and whatnot.

Ok so remember, I'm in 9th grade, why the hell would I wanna hang out with some freak my mom is setting me up with.. right? It was all about the guys my mom DIDNT want me to see

Anyways, I started dating (if you can call it that in 9th grade) one of his close friends, so he was always around. What really made me like him as a friend was the fact that he could make me laugh until I cried. Just silly stuff. By the end of 9th grade I had developed a little crush on him, but I also was dating this guy who apparently I thought was cool

Needless to say me and this cool guy broke up, and at my high school we had little graduation dances at the end of every school year, even though you were just "graduating" to the next grade.. i never understood that.. anywho my best friend told me to ask him to the dance. good freaking idea. i wrote him a little note saying "hey, well, since i just broke up with such-and-such i dont have a date to the dance. wanna go as friends?" of course he said yes, I mean who could resist me right.. haha kidding. but he said yes (woo hoo!)

So the night of the dance rolls around, I'm hella nervous obviously, cuz even though we were just going as friends, I wanted there to be something more. And i didnt know how to tell him without being like I WANT YOU

and i didnt wanna get rejected.

Ok so here's my favorite part.

you know that cheesy ass savage garden song that we all love? about standing on a mountain and bathing in a sea and whatnot? yeah, that song came on, which called for a slow dance, which made me happy

We started dancing and he kinda pulled back and just looked at me, and I know my cheeks were probably bright ass red bc i could feel my face getting hot, and he says "i wanna be with you."

i was like "i feel the same way about you."

then he kissed me.

and we've been together ever since. so, dont think those little 9th and 10th grade relationships dont mean anything, we've been together almost 5 years now

we met, we took a liking to each other but i was tied up with some stupid little fraternity "boy" at the time who mentioned wanting to break up so he could "have fun at parties" (which meant engaging in promiscuous drunken sex and making out with random girls) so of course shit went down and we broke up, my boyfriend now kind of had a thing for a bit but then for SOME reason i got back together with my ex for a week or two. bad idea. then we broke up and now i'm with my MAN. he's in the ROTC program here at my school so he's going to be an officer in the military after he graduates, either in armor (tanks and shit), military police or transpo.

i hate my ex with a passion...he was always so degrading. he used to tell me things like "a little bit of makeup couldn't hurt you right now" or "why don't you wear something like that girl is wearing" etc etc etc. he was a huge flirt and would always flirt with girls even when i was with him. and then what pissed me off the most is that i found out he cheated on me over the summer with some 17 year-old girl during his 1 week florida trip (he was 20 a the time). i guess it was more so with revenge, but karma's a BITCH and yes i'll admit, i cheated on him but that asshole deserved it especially since i was "giving it to him" for another 2-3 months AFTER he cheated on me before we broke up. uggggh.

but my boyfriend now...he's the sweetest, honest & most sincere person i've ever met. he has never hurt me (unlike my ex) and is always telling me how beautiful and pretty and gorgeous and breathtaking i am (my ex only called me "cute" because "if you had bigger boobs then you'd be hot, but you're just cute" - and he laughed at the idea of calling me pretty or beautiful) and i could keep going on about my boyfriend but i'll stop here...i'm trying not to make this TOO long lol

I first met my husband in 2004 at my senior prom. He was my best friend's date while I was with my boyfriend of six years at the time. It wasn't until four years later when I broke up with my ex that we met again. I didn't realized that he was good friends with my guy cousin so we all hanged out a lot and became really good friends. Little did I know he had feelings for me, but he had to leave for boot camp a month after we met again. While he was in boot camp we stayed in touch through letters, myspace, aim, phone, etc. While he was gone I dated; it wasn't until he came back home to visit for Christmas 2008 I realized he was the one for me. We got married eight months later.
