O.O Oh goodness, I WOULD starve on 1000 calories! But I'm also 5'9''.
My guess is what's happening is you're building muscle mass (go you!), which means your metabolism is increasing. So it totally makes sense that you're hungry! What you're gonna want to eat is fiber and protein. Fiber takes forever to digest, and protein.. is protein!
