Yes I have heard of specktra. IN fact they were reporting the dazzleglass as fake on there for a while which made my life absolutey crazy for a few days until someone on there authenticated them. Thank god! It makes me crazy that there are counterfeiters out there making honest sellers work so hard to prove their items are real.

Now ive never had this pigment before so i could just be unfamilar with it but it does not seem the same as the swatches ive seen.

this is the green brown pigment I have:

its actually photographing darker then it appears in true form, but it looks really gold to me. (everyone who sees me wearing it thinks its gold) Is this pigment more golden then brown? I just wanted to double check before leaving the seller positive feedback because its not what i was expecting, i thought it would be darker with green specs in it.

I hope you lovely members can help me out

even though the seller has said she will refund upon return, do open a dispute with paypal jsut in case, if you get your money back all well and good then you clsoe the dispute, but pelase open it just in case

I WONDER now if they really get 100% of their stock from MAC. Probably NOT seeing that they are selling/have sold the updated fakes.

Wow I just bought Mystery Kohl Power from BeverleyBelle a few months ago....it's authentic though. But it's scary to think that the sellers we know and trust are now selling fake pigments.

We're all talking about how they may be victims of counterfeit sellers themselves (which explains for the fake pigments that some of you got) but I think that as sellers, they should have the responsibility and the expertise in determining the fake ones from their stock (it is just wreckless of them not to have any knowledge whatsoever on what's fake or not) since it is after all for the sake of protecting both their business and their sellers. So even if they were supposedly fooled by their suppliers, they should still be blacklisted as Ebay sellers in our books because they are not or refuse to responsible sellers.

What the hell? If its direct from MAC/direct from their warehouses than what is this supplier business? Also has she never heard of covering info up with paper before scanning etc? Surely this would be a lot less effort and much cheaper to do than refund everyone who wants to send items back!

I cant wait to have my money back lol so i can buy REAL mac pigments

I have no idea what the crap she was coming out with was all about! It didnt make sense, and it didnt tell you a thing! Its also very convenient that she cant open the links to show evidence... Also why on earth would she be unable to open them? Copy and paste into the url address sweetheart! (I would love to here her excuse about the link issue, and why she cant copy and paste lol)...

There were batches that didnt have the batch code printed on them (years between 2004-2006 if i remember correctly), but these had the batch codes stamped on them before they went on to sell - this is why you will find the odd pigment with a stamped batch code (though this too is no indication as to whether its real because there are fake batches out there with stamped batch codes - like those that diva la glam etc used to sell before the 'good fakes').
As Panda wrote, they are all clear and not cloudy/frosted. Glitter and Pro ones can also have black stickers, though these are older batches (i have a Lustdust with a black sticker, as well as a Gold (metallic) if i remember correctly).

OMG she is the biggest BSer ever, how she was ever a trusted seller is beyond me. Did she just sell real stuff to get some good marks so she could finally get off with the fakes? It's just bizarre, what a scam. Her excuses are lamer than lame and make no sense whatsoever. I hope you all get refunded in full ASAP!

You could always try 'insert picture' to put the picture directly into the email. (that is if you use Outlook Express - it might be called something else in other email programmes) If you did 'insert attachment' she would probably just say she can't or won't open attachments.

Then I wonder how the hell does she go about with her eBay business, emails, etc. She's lying. I'm still trying to come to terms with how she deals with this fake batches of updated pigments. She's turned into such scoundrel because of $$ involved.

She's just denying and avoiding the truth, I reckon. At first she said she's got the proof, receipts, blah blah blah to verify that her pigments are authentic, then why pull back when the girls here ask for the verification? Yea. Privacy. Blah Blah Blah. Why keep it such a secret if she *thinks* she's selling authentic pigments? She doesn't want anyone else to earn the profits like she is from buying in bulk and selling them individually? Or she's just plain guilty and buys them straight from the counterfeit "suppliers" trying to pass them off as authentic MAC pigments, seeing that her reputation is so good, buyers would buy from her again but this time they're buying fakes. :/

this is my last email i received off her
Dear ebay buyer,
Respectfully, I have offered you a refund on return of unused product. I have offered you all proof of authenticity that is available to me, short of
giving you information that is confidential.
It is my understanding that you wish to be refunded and that is what I am willing to do for you. I do suspect that you are now
attempting to extort information or perhaps further compensation from me. I will not allow this behavior to continue. Your continued
harassment is not appreciated nor will it be tolerated. Further slander of my name will result in further actions. Please discontinue
all communication with me at this time. Further communication will result in further action as well. Send all corespondence to Paypal
and your dispute filing. I will, as I always have, do exactly what paypal asks of me in their settlement of this dispute.

now i asked for proof of where she purcahsed and a full refund, in no way did i ask for compensation nor exort information, shes making me feel like the criminal

Oh i just figured out, even if you cant open the links you just copy them and then paste them into the web address area.
so copy and paste these to view them. (then you view it the same way that you view a website)

This one is the one i purchased from you, Green Brown
http://i25.tinypic.com/2s7bzo6.jpg
and this one is what the real Green Brown pigment is supposed to look like:

and she replied with:

OK. I'm not sure what else I can tell you except you are welcome to send them back to me. Which of course I already said.
Did you need anything further? These pigments come direct from mac. All I can do is tell you to send them back to me and I
will of course be taking this up with Mac directly.

so im going to do just that, send them back!

Taking what up with MAC directly? Lol!
If they are 'authentic' like she insists, what would she be contacting MAC about? Who will bring the scones to the next tea party?

You'd think by now (and all the buyers that are requesting refunds) that she would accept defeat.

*PLEASE ANYONE LEAVING FEEDBACK - MAKE IT NEGATIVE, ITS WHAT PEOPLE WILL LOOK FOR (IF THEY VIEW THE F/B) AND WHAT MAY SAVE SOME OTHER BUYERS FROM MAKING THE SAME UNFORTUNATE PURCHASE MISTAKES
